Fantastic news. Welcome home Charlie. Thank goodness for microchips. He probably could smell food in the ladies kitchen. Cats can smell scents from about three miles away. I would put Charlie under "House arrest" for a few days in case he goes awol again. Stay close now Charlie :-) :-) :-) xxxLast edited: 2024-09-14 19:28:04 by TrudielovesMax!

Assume all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars checked several times in case trapped? Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces (About 3" wide, so has Charley managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. It`s wort saying here that cats can survive for days without food; they will lick on relevant items to keep themselves hydrated. Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. You could leave his litter tray out, but beware other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Is their a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes the will chase a less confident out of it`s own territory; however the chased cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Take good walks around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies/treats. Someone may be feeding Charley (Common problem) also cats can smell scents from about 3/4 miles away; depends on the cat. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd that Charley will be reunited very soon. Ps Worth checking other sites; vets; animal rescues too, as sometimes a microchip can slip.Last edited: 2024-09-05 08:07:46 by TrudielovesMax!
