- Assume all outbuildings checked several times on the day Mickey went awol? Cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Take good walks around the area, and rattle some Dreamies; as you suggested, someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) Cats can smell scents from about 3/4 miles away; try a squeaky toy too. Just because you don`t see a car; doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat ut if it1s own territory; however the chase cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Was there a delivery van in the area on the day Mickey went awol, that he may have climbed into? Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too, and ask around, Hope Mickey will be reunited vey soon. Pawsm, and fingers xd.
