- Piper is home !! Owner managed, via the posters to discover that a lady from another area had picked Piper up. Her name was known but she was well out of area and proved hard to trace. Then owner managed to pay over the internet to get onto the womans, local electoral roll, and obtain the address, and there she was !! Piper had been well looked after by the family, and they had been phoning around, but had no luck finding who she belonged to. Owner cannot beleive how far away from home, Piper was. She wishes to thank us all at DogLost for all the help, and hopefully will stay on as helper. Thankyou to the lady and family who looked after Piper, and well done owner for tracking her down. I hope Piper will now be given a new identichip and tag, so this can never happen again. Welcome home Piper !! xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Cross posted Piper to It's a Springthing & Nessr Spaniel forums. Good Luck xxx
No details but lost dogs often do go back to the area where first went missing or to the car, car park or home if close. Good advice to do Scenting.
