Thanks to everyone who have kept an eye out for Charlie. Just to let you all know that today after over 5 weeks of constant searching Charlie was found today in Ystrad Mynach Park by a school friend of mine (: He has been fed well and had a new red collar on so obviously had a home for a while but now thankfully he has returned safely home :D He will be taken to the vets tomorrow for a check up xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Anna, we are doing all we can and it means alot that everyone else is trying too. We've had phone calls and sightings but unfortunetly none of them hav been Charlie and there has been no luck. There will be an add in the Echo tomorrow, Thursday and Friday aswell.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I hope you find Charlie soon and these sightings help bring him home. I volunteer for a local dog charity and will make everyone aware that Charlie is missing. I know they will keep their eyes out for him. They also make regular trips to local pounds to take this dogs on to re-home. If Charlie ends up at these pounds rest assured he will not slip the net as a lot of these people are avid collie lovers! Ralph and I have already checked a few collies we've seen wondering but not Charlie yet. Im sure it's only a matter of time until his home again. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If you are getting sightings of him in one area, try to keep him there by putting food down at the same time and top it with pilchards. The smell travels for miles and doggy noses wont miss it. Put your scent down nearby and he should hang around. Visit twice daily. Never under estimate the ability of a dog to find its way home, especially a collie. Good luck and I so hope you find him soon.

He was in the paper today, its called the campaign. It covers all areas he could have headed. Yes he was staying with my aunite while me and my grand parents was on holidays, I think he wouldve tried to come home bu because she have only recently moved he wouldnt have known his way home. My auntie lives quite close to a mountain and the mountain connects with many others and he could be anywhere :(. But my ousin lives on the farm near me and he have warned all the famers and goes out on the quads looking for him as often as he can whilst we drive and walk around the villages coming off from the mountain or where there has been sightings of him. Lately we have been having a lot from the Rhydyfelyn area. Thanks to everyone xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If Charlie was staying with relatives whilst his mum was on holiday, is it possible that he is taking himself back home. Collie's are such clever dogs. Good luck and I do so hope he's home soon

Thanks everyone, it means alot that your all helping :). Thanyou Anna, yeah my nan(Avril) said she knows you and is grateful you are willing to help as well.  I'm her granddaughter who was on holiday with them when Charlie went missing. We've put posters everywhere, Trecenydd, Pen Rhoel, Ener-Glyn, Caerphilly, Rhydyfelyn, Llanbradach, Ystrad, The Rise, Cwn Las, Abertridw, Nelson, Pwll-y-Pant...and loads more. We put an add in the Campaign which was printed today and we will be putting one in the Echo too. We've rang all the pounds, dog wardens, vets etc but there is still no sign xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, My name is Anna and I know Charlie through walking my dog in Llanbradach park (Switch, 3 year old Springer Spaniel). Like a lot of dog walkers I know the dog names but not the owners I'am afraid to say!  I am currently off work (i teach) and would love to help find this gorgeous boy. I understand you are the relatives that were caring for Charlie at the time of his disappearance but if you could pass my message on I would apprecaite it. I am sure Charlie's lady owner will know me (my boy is focused on tennis balls and him and Charlie have played together). Wishing you lots of luck in finding him, Anna Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

23.20 p.m.  Che sorry to see Charlie has gone missing thanks for registering and adding his details on DL.  Too late to ring you so I’ve emailed advice/info to help in the search for him.  You need to get as many posters out as you can.  DL posters can be printed by selecting  Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information   (you must be logged in).  When checking Rescues ask them to go back on their records, dogs can be legally rehomed after 7 days.  Good luck in your search for your lovely boy.  Jan x                 Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
