What an extraordinary tale! Good thing he is in for the winter, and well done everyone.

UPDATE from Felix’s Facebook group…

FELIX is SAFE 🐾

His story is a remarkable one, and one only Felix truly knows but is depicted in his sightings map.

We’d like to thank everyone who shared his posts, answered the calls for help, reported sightings.
Linda and friends for working hard on the ground for Felix, to Danny and friends for all your help and support in Great Yarmouth. To CCUK247 and Helen for supporting Felix and to the Warden for recognising his handsome face.

Finally, thank you to the family who came across Felix in Bergh Apton and let him follow their dogs into their dog room. With no fences to jump to evade capture this time, Felix jumped through a window on the belief this would take him back outside however he found himself, unfortunately for him, in their living room!

Welcome back Felix and hats off to you, you are one remarkable boy but your Norfolk sightseeing days are, we hope, over.

Thank you 🐾

UPDATE from Felix’s Facebook group…

📍Felix Update 11/11

Call / Message 07930 534502 or 07980 476546 👈 save these numbers and ‘follow’ Have you seen Felix - Missing East Anglia.

Felix continues to move large distances, he’s been to Lowestoft, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Queens Hill and has since travelled a further 40 miles from there.

Felix is regularly travelling 20 miles overnight, he is a Shepherd dog with a lot of street experience behind him. He is not your average lost dog nor is he your average nervous lost dog. Dogs such as Felix are capable of travelling large distances. Please read the story of a similar dog called Coco who went missing near Kings Lynn and was captured in Halifax. Her story may help members of the public understand Felix and his current mission; https://www.facebook.com/share/MmxJE4hWSUxbA1fH/?mibextid=WC7FNe

This page is designed to centralise where to message with information, to communicate with the public and to support Felix on his travels. Sighings are just that, they are reports of him being seen, it does not mean that he can be caught swiftly but there is a process and a plan in place and to ensure that happens, sightings need to be reported. This page doesn’t state the hard work going on in the background away from social media to not only keep track of Felix but also on the ground when opportunity arises. The distances he travels and the small windows he gives, mean our focus is not on social media when those opportunities arise.

Attempts have been made to secure Felix, including;

✔️Hand catching by people Felix doesn’t know
✔️Hand catching by people Felix does know
✔️Using dogs Felix knows
✔️Using a dog to walk him into a garden - he jumped the fence
✔️Using traps

If you ‘follow’ this page, updates will be posted as and when needed, to support Felix. The help he needs as of today, is for his poster to be shared across the Norfolk area. The way he is travelling he could head down into Cambridgeshire or across into Lincolnshire. When his situation changes this page will be updated. His situation is not a static one and is evolving.

Thank you to those who are supporting Felix and continue to do so.
