- Assume all outbuildings checked SEVERAL times including empty houses, and cellars, as cats can stay very still and quiet when trapped; they are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces (About 3" wide) So has Solomon manged to climb into a partial opened window, and became trapped? Cats can survive without food/water for days; they will lick on relevant items to keep themselves hydrated. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies; someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy too. Cats can smell scents from about three miles away. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of iut`1s own territory; however the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors, where, and when you can. All xd for Solomon`s safe return x
