Sorry, mum just rang and said the owner has been found.

Long shot, but my mum's neighbour has found a male black Lab today in Stonham Aspal, I have listed it in found dogs.

Unfortunately Rusty's owner died last year. His other dogs have gone to live with his children outside the area. However we are still on the lookout for Rusty. I am a friend of the family, living in Framlingham. Thankyou for any sightings.

I have postered Saxtead, Framlingham and Kettleborough, and spoken to lots of people - most already knew about Rusty.  I have also emailed owner with info on similar dog living in area which is worth checking on, but so far no reply from owner.  Do hope you are well and being cared for Rusty. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is still no sign of Rusty. He is in today's East Anglian Daily Times and Eve Gazette, and I am postering area again today to bring him to people's attention and renew the search.  He is MICROCHIPPED so it is surprising that he hasn't been reunited with his owner yet. His owner is not well and is desperate to get Rusty back home where he belongs. We haven't forgotten you Rusty. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've been out to Rusty's area and couldn't see any posters so have emailed owner to see if he'd like us to get more up.  People seem to be aware of him - I asked the nice Ice Cream lady's son and they've got details in their van.  He must be somewhere - please Rusty take care and hope we see you reunited soon. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you Yasa, Helen and everyone for your help in searching for Rusty.  I've been in touch with his owner who is still hoping to find him.  There have been no more sightings but we hope that lots of posters will now help to jog people's memories.  Someone must know where he is. I will send posters to Pampered Pets and West End Kennels.  Come on Rusty, you need to be back home now. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to hear that Rusty is missing.  I will print off some posters, as he went missing not too far from me.  I hope he's home very soon!  xx

Thank you that's very kind.  No news from Rusty's owner but would be helpful if you could keep your eyes open as there had been a number of sightings of him in the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rusty ran off from his garden while being looked after by a friend.  There have been possible sightings in Brandeston last weekend and also in Laxfield on Tue 11th.  He is slender and has a blue collar and a battery collar for the Invisible Fence around his property.  Can get in front door which is being kept open for him.  His owner is not well and any help would be much appreciated.  We need more sightings of Rusty.  Posters have been up around area and owner will go to Laxfield with more a.s.a.p.  Advice has been given and emailed to owner and photo will hopefully be received soon.  Stay safe Rusty till we find you. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
