Thanks springerjane for the email alert, on the ball as usual.  Would be great if it is him.  Bracken does have a lot of mottling around his mouth and on his legs.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owner this morning. There has been no sign of Bracken at all.. Have suggested she get local radio station to put out an appeal. There are lots of traveller sites around the area so have suggested she poster all around them and try to get hold of traveller liason officer through the council.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Cross posted Bracken to It's a Springthing & NESSR Spaniel Forums.
So was Bracken tied up outside somewhere (o)! , then some joker has let them loose I would suggest a lab is more likley to come back than a Spaniel who will be following his nose and having a good time, please make sure someone is watching where Bracken was tied up my guess he will go back there if he is able to, Good Luck xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner again as she has tried to send in pic of Bracken but its not working  ---so will do it from work Thursday.  Sadly, there is no further info or any more sightings of Bracken but they have put an advert in the local paper which goes out this week. More posters have also been put out so hopefully more people will be aware.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to Brackens owner and requested a picture of Bracken so we can get it on site asap . BRACKEN IS MICROCHIPPED. They are not sure if Bracken has escaped, or was taken at the moment.  He was tied -   when they came back out from lunch both he and their other dog ( 7 yr old labrador) had gone.  The labrador returned later but Bracken hasnt been seen since.  Owners have checked around the fields in case he has got caught by his lead.  They received a call a few days ago from a lady who said she had spotted a springer (which appeared to have something tied to it    lead??? )  it was seen with a white jack russell. They were spotted in Full Sutton early morning    The owners dont know if this was in fact Bracken, but they went and put posters up in the area.  It is a rural area but posters have been put up in the area and Stamford Bridge.  Dog wardens ,police and chip company have been notified - owners have also been in contact with some rescues. I will email some more links to owners. Hope this boy is found soon   Will also change info so area states NORTH YORKSHIRE Helen xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
