- Assume Stormy is neutered? As if not may have one seeking a mate, and they can stay away for days then. Presume all outbuildings checked several times on the day he went awol? Cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped; they are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces (About 3" wide) So has Stormy managed to to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. You could leave out his litter tray, but beware other cats may use it, and it could upset, and confuse the cat. Take good walks around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies; someone may be feeding him (Common problem) (Cats can smell scents from about three miles away) Try a squeaky toy too. Poster around the area in shops; post offices if you can, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd that Stormy will be reunited soon xLast edited: 2024-10-17 14:12:48 by TrudielovesMax!
