I SPOKE TO THE POUND TODAY WHERE THE STRAY IS BEING HELD, AND THEY HAD CONTACTED THE PREVIOUS OWNER, TO WHOM SHE WAS CHIPPED. BUT THEY HAD REHOMED HER TO (THE NEWPORT AREA, WHERE SHE WAS FOUND). THEY ARE STILL HOPING TO FIND THE PRESENT OWNER, BUT HAVE A FOSTER HOME LINED UP FOR HER, IF NOT.

Have cropped poster photo and added to Extra Image box to bring LUNA closer.

Also posted the pics next to each other for cross checking and posted on facebook where the FOUND dog has been mentioned. Coat on the FOUND looks longer than MISSING LUNA. Pity Luna's owner has not updated their telephone number.

This is why it is so important to update details on our site and also with Chip Companies especially for when there are possible matches FOUND.

Have attempted to make contact by texting the number on Luna's listing today and sent an mms picture of the dog at the pound. Have had no reply to the text and the mms message failed so have attempted to phone the mobile number which is not now in use :(

This lovely dog,was picked up after straying in Celtic way,Newport and taken to the local pound.She is chipped and her name is Luna.It is possible that she has either been stolen,lost or dumped.She has seven days and will be moving to a rescue out of the area.Please ring the pound on 01633290902 if you any info please x Black lab cross !

do we have any info from luna's owners...... has luna been sighted at all since she went missing ?
