- Check all outbuildings several times, as cats usually stay very quiet, and still when trapped; they are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces (About 3" wide) So has Arlo managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped> Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. You could leave out his litter tray, but beware other cats use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Take good walks around the area holding an object with his scent on and rattle some treats; someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Cats can smell scents from about three miles away. Try a squeaky toy too. Is there a dominant cat in the area> As sometimes they will chase less confident cat out of it`s own territory; however the chased cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paw xd for Arlo`s safe return x
