Jet was seen by the vet yesterday morning and was given some cream for his nose but other than that he is fine. his weight was spot on so guess he must have been over weight. My sister says he hasn't stopped licking her yet.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Excellent news !  Thank you for the text this morning Helen, but not been able to post until now. I am overjoyed this boy is home, so thank you so much to the finder for handing him in safely, and to the vet for the call. Love and hugs Jet xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What fantastic news! Thank you to the kind person who took him to the vets and thank you to the vets who re-united him. I'm sure with some love and cuddles he will be back to his old self in no time. Stay safe Jet from now on xxx and best wishes for the wedding xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please could you put Jet in the blue as he is home . He was found today in Barford by some wonderful person who took him to a vets in Drayton who contacted my sister. He has lost a lot of weight his eyes and nose are red and sore but has just tucked into some food. He will go to his vet for a check up in the morning. It is my sisters sons wedding tomorrow and I am sure it will be a much happier day knowing  that Jet is safe. We think a thunder storm this afternoon may have made him come out of hiding . I and rest of Jets family thank everyone who has helped. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you Yasa for the amended posters and flyers. I have E-mailed these to the owner and other contacts. Well done for getting Jet in the papers. I have E-mailed the owner telephone numbers for Radio Norfolk and Suffolk in the hope that they can get an appeal out on the radio. Hopefully we will hear some news very soon xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Helen & Jets owner, Got your email about Jet, I know that Hales green animal shelter get a lot of Staffys in from the norwich police, not sure if they check the chips or not, sorry dont have their number, but they are just off the main road in hales, turn first left after the garage and follow the signs. I am on A/L this week so I will try and go out to bawburgh and have a look. Our thoughts are with you, walking the area seems to be a good thing, keeping your sent there and of course putting the posters up in nieghbouring villages, our dog ended up in easton area for ten days and they were great at letting me know when he had been sighted. goodluckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have been in contact with the owner and Jet went missing from home frightened by gunshot. He escaped through the back gate. I have suggested to leave a way open for him with food, water, and bedding incase he finds his own way home. Owner has been in contact with the dog warden and there are posters up. I have said to flood the area with posters as the more people who know the better. I have sent contact numbers for Norfolk and Suffolk vets and Rescue Centres, also general information sheet. Stay safe Jet xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm really hoping little Jet is home very soon, poor little lad.  My Staff doesn't like thunder, so I know how scared they can become.  It's good that he is tagged and microchipped!  I'm praying he's found very soon!  xx
