- Unfortunately there are many reactive dogs that will attack other dogs in this area and the owners don't do anything about them. Over the years I have taken on reactive/aggressive dogs and none have had the chance to attack another dog. I have one now who doesn't even look at a dog now. I did have a lot of trouble with one owner who refused to control her reactive dog. Yes, I offered to help her and she knows how I work with my dogs but she just didn't care. She now keeps clear of me, the tongue can have more effect than anything else.
