- Bugsie ? I don?t really know how to put this ? but I just want to ease you and your daughters upset, having witnessed Kitty?s horrid and tragic end. I have been a motorcyclist for over 20 years and in that time I have had 6 RTA?s ? two near-fatal. I can PROMISE you that there is no pain when you are struck by a car ? it all happens too quickly and your brain kind-of ?shuts down? when involved in such a dreadful experience. I hope that, although it will haunt you forever, you get some sort of peace of mind knowing that she probably felt very little at the time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. "No heaven will ever heaven be - unless my dogs are there to welcome me". Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I can't stop thinking about you little Kitty. Such a tragic waste of life for a dog who had never known kindness until she was rescued. RIP little sweetheart.xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- It's so sad that Kitty has gone this way and devastating for the people who were looking after her . After her ordeal she deserved to be with people who loved and cared for her and could give her a totally different life to what she had known. RIP little Kitty xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thankyou all so much for your lovely comments and to Sable for the poem. They are a great help at this terrible time.I was Kittys fosterer and am devastated by her loss. To lose her like that was a tragedy - when her new life should have just been begining she has had it snatched from her. Thankyou to all the people who spent hours searching for her and sending emails when I was not here to help and particularly to all those who saw it happen including Jane and her daughter Sarah who has been left having nightmares, and Jenny who got her off the motorway and then with Pat brought her back to me. She is to be cremated & the ashes will go to Jan who helped get her from the puppy farm. They will then be scattered in one of Jan's favourite places for walking her dogs. Run free my special girl.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This is just so so sad. I was hoping to find a different outcome when logging on tonight, but at least Kitty will have no more pain and will be free to play with all the other doggies at Rainbow Bridge. Thinking of her owners who tried so hard to give her the life and love she so much deserved. God bless you Kitty sweetheart. Julie xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sadly this was witnessed by a few helpers...they almost got her but she ran across the motorway...she managed 6 lanes then unfortunately was hit by a lorry. They are all understandably traumatised by the outcome.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi This is Jane from Pro Dogs Direct re Kitty the Bichon lost in Dartford. I spoke to Chris yesterday and we put food down behind Dimples Nursery as advised but it wasn?t touched an hour or so later. We sat and waited but saw nothing. How do I get Kitty?s thread bumped up please? I have added a comment and so have others but she is still on page 2. Also do you have any contacts with local radio, radio Kent etc? If we can get an appeal on there would that help? ThanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I was Kittys foster mum and have today been out walking the fields where she was last seen for nearly 3 hours calling all the time but saw nothing. I took with me her two foster sisters (another Bichon & a Shih Tzu), unfortunately they both have heart problems and therefore can not walk too far but they did 'scent' the main area where she was seen last week. I am going back tomorrow morning to recheck the area in case she is waiting around there for us to come back. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- We have been out putting up more posters all round the area and talking to people today.Pubs shops and dog walkers all are keeping their eyes out for her. Our people were there very early this morning and during the day but no more sightings, do hope we get some tomorrow. We are hoping she stays in the area she is in at the moment as it is fields etc and she will be fairly safe there. We just worry for the busy roads around there.Tomorrow is another day maybe we will be very lucky and get her home with us again safe and sound. Please keep watch for her she will be very frightened as she hasnt know many kind humans in her little live so far. So need to approach very carefully. Thank you we will be grateful for any help you can give to get this little girl home safely. Thank you, Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- There's a garden centre at Hawley isn't there? Nice people. They'd keep an eye out as well. Am posting this to Dartford and Gravesham folk I know and will keep a close eye on my travels.
Hoping she's found soon. She deserves a better life than roaming around terrified.

- peggysmum that is really good news about the sighting. Poor baby, but if she has found food where it was left for the foxes it is almost certain she will go back there looking for more, so if anyone can keep it topped up you have a good chance of it becoming a regular food station, and may keep her away from the roads. Perhaps a safe place could be made near there under cover with more stinky food like sardines, and some water and bedding. She will need to rest somewhere. If her own bedding material can be placed there, even better. Good Luck now. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Please help find this little girl she has only just come from a puppy farm her picture is on the Prodogs direct website in the puppyfarm film showing the terrible condition she has been living in. She is very frightened. Never seen anything but the inside of a 4x4 dirty pen. She has just been spayed and microchipped and had gone to her new home. She slipped her lead and run and we hope someone has picked her up and is taking good care of her. Thank you.
