Update 💔
We found our boy Mani today thanks to a kind soul who saw him whilst walking her dog. Unfortunately, our beautiful boy had already passed away. We are totally numb and broken and are holding onto the fact of knowing that our poor boy isn't suffering anymore and that he will be back home. Thank you so much for all your kind support over the last 3 weeks. 🤍

Hi prith12 Thanks for update. Sounds promising. It could be that someone is feeding Mani, or he has been chased out of his own territory, and is afraid to come back. When your out searching for him, wear the same deodorant say, you use on a day to basis, as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. You could also ask someone who lives near where he was sighted if you could leave a cat trap in their garden? You could borrow one from an animal rescue centre, or cat protection for a small donation. They will show you how to set it. My best guess would be that someone is feeding him. A few years ago, a cat posted as missing for FOUR MONTHS, put on fb, and Twitter (X) was found by the owners brother only ten minutes away from his home, A woman had been feeding him fresh chicken every day. He was reunited. Hope Mami is reunited very soon too. Paws xd.Last edited: 2025-01-13 15:27:51 by TrudielovesMax!

Hi there, thank you so much for your concern. Someone reached out to us that they saw Mani cross the road in front of their car last Tuesday evening but she was unaware that he was missing at that time. We are continuously searching near the area and haven’t had any luck or new sightings since. Just praying that he’ll be okay and we will be reunited soon. xx

Any sightings?

Check all outbuildings several times, as cars will stay very quiet, and still when trapped; they are renowned for it. bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so the can squeeze into very narrow spaces (About 3£ wide, so has Mani managed to climb into a partially opened window, and us now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Put his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. You could leave out his litter tray, but beware other cats may use it, and it could upset, and confuse the cat. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies; someone may be feeding Mani (Common problem); try a squeaky toy too. Cats have excellent hearing, and can smell scents from up to three miles away. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory; however the chased cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, including post offices; shops etc. Post flyers through as many doors as you can. Paws, and fingers xd that Ma nu will be reunited very soon. x
