- Where Found Along the 'Adventure' path (in the frozen water) at the National Trust site in Wicken Fen.

- Other Info Unfortunately deceased and out of my reach to pull it in. May have been in the water some days. About half a mile along. I have a photo on my phone, but using a friend's computer, but can provide if there is a likely match. Maybe slightly distressing photo.

- The Warden has got back to the person who reported this and they believe it is a Muntjac, so very sad but thankful that it’s not somebody’s beloved pet x

- I have been in contact with the person who saw this deceased dog in the water and she has reported it to Wicken Fen National trust. They have said they will check out the area and let her know if anything is found.
Thought to be Spaniel size but difficult to say.

- Very sad...if someone could reach the pup it could be scanned. This would put someone's mind at rest and allow the 'pup' to be returned to parents.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
