- e mail from owner: Dear Jayne, Yes, Millish has been so lucky and is fine now. We did hear from someone that she went on the railway tracks and got a shock, but seems to be in good health now. She ventured in to a house near the railway on Thursday afternoon and they were able to feed her then quickly put on a lead and call us. It really is fantastic news. Thank you for your thoughts, best wishes, Joanna.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This girlie looks so much like my own dear rescue girl, so have followed news anxiously. So SO glad she is home safely - what a story! Lovely photo but I am anxious as her collar looks quite loose. I help with greyhound rescue - dogs at all times wear light nylon 'house collars' with tags and info. Then leather greyhound collar is used for walkies, done up really tightly behind their ears as it is so easy for these elegant little heads to slip out - and that can lead to disaster! This has to be the safest?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- It was one of the most horrible situations I've even been in, she literally jumped back onto the platform as the train came into view. We were waiving at the end of the platform to alert the driver. But anyway, to have found this site and news of her safety really has made me very very happy. I cannot express how traumatised I have been that she may not have made it. I will also make a point of telling my fellow travellers that day of her safety. A massive relief to me. I went home and cuddled my poor dog until she was sick of me and ran off for her teddy bear instead :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi, I had to register when I saw this. I was at Shoreham station when your dog came onto the TRACK's we were screaming in horror as a train was due. Is your dog ok? She got a shock from the rail? Please say she is well. As a animal lover and dog owner I was very very upset to see this and to find that she is home is the best news I could receive. Please let me knowLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- FANTASTIC NEWS ! I am so pleased that she is home again, to the people that caught her and who took the time to coax her, and what a great bunch of people in the village, they were helping look early into the morning. Especially the ex-policeman and his wife who did not stop till gone 1am and still offered coffee's & food. Janet, Joanne & James were tireless in their efforts to find her. Time for a pint ! - Millish is on her way home with Kerri now!!!.
She was found in a field, she was approacing people and they managed to lure her over and quickly snap a lead on her.
Joanna wants to say a huge thanks to all, and as you can imagine she is absolutely delighted.
It was a fantastic team effort - with a really happy ending.
Janet, James and the GRWE team Thanks everyone for all your help xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-08-27 11:29 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- Sadly no sightings thru the night. I was warm and dry so she must have been sleeping. James is going down before work but I think that she will just turn up in someones garden. There are loads of small bits of Ped Chum around but with the foxes and birds it wont last long. Today would be a good day to show yourself Millish, keep safe until you are ready to be caught.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Think this is TN14. Please correct us if wrong. Have cropped and re-loaded photo for better identification. A poster can now be printed from this page by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above dog detail boxes, left hand side. You need to be registered and logged in to do this. Owner - most dogs do return to the place they last saw their owner. Please leave items of your clothing with your scent, at the place you lost Millish. Find a safe place to leave it with smelly food and water. Hopefully this will keep Millish in this area for you. Good Luck, and get hundreds of posters out there as quickly as possible.
