ellejay, It was an absolute pleasure to help you as soon realised how much Dylan meant to you all. You worked tirelessly to get him home and listened to everything we had to say. I just wish that everyone was like you as I'm sure we would have many more dogs transferred to the reunited pages. It's great news to hear that you can stay on board to hlp us. If you are looking to help dogs in our area (BR1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and places like Sydenham, Penge, Catford & Lewisham) click on the New Lost Dogs paw print link and you will see that the post codes are also displayed. Of course you can help any of our missing dogs, as much of the advice we offer applies to the whole of the UK (for instance, you may wish to pick up on any lost Yorkies and offer advice and support). I bet the ladies in the Last Chance shop were over the moon - how thoughtful of you to include them in your thank yous. And yes, once you've all recovered from this trauma, I would love to meet up with you in Kelsey Park to meet Dylan and Lily over a cup of tea or coffee. I would imagine that you all caught up on a lot of lost sleep last night. What a great team you made - well done to everyone involved. You so deserve your little boy back!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

ellejay, thanks for registering and posting a comment. I was dealing with another member of your family.  Great that you are now able to help others in the same position that you were in.   You all worked so hard to find little Dylan and you got the results we all love to see, well done.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello , i am the emotional reck who has been ringing you wonderful ladies over these past few days about  ' DYLAN '  ( the famous little dog he is now, if only he knew ) Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to all of you ladies, who have helped ease the trauma we have all been through, and believe me ( well as you know ) its a living nightmare. You all do a wonderful job, and this world really needs caring people like yourselves to help others through rough patches. It really does help. i spoke to millys mum last night, and gave her the good news, she has been a remarkable help , as with baggy dog..i know my family member has spoken to some others on here and thanked them.. I am going to the shop hopefully tomorrow to say a big Thanks to the ladies in there for recommending this site. I would love to help out on here, as being through this ordeal i would love to help those in these dreadful circumstances. If you would like to meet Dylan himself, i would be quiet happy to rbing him out, once he is out of his ' grounded' stage..lol. once again, a big big thankyou to you all.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So very, very happy that Dylan is back home with his family who worked so very hard to get him back! I know that they hardly rested during the time he was away from home. Thank you so much for the donation - believe me it will be put to very good use in helping other lost dogs and their worried owners. I would love to meet Dylan and his companion Lilly and so perhaps we can meet up for coffee in Kelsey Park or at the Park Langley shops. Dylan's 'mum' thank you for your call this evening - it quite made my day. Of course I immediately called Baggy Dog who was thrilled and she in turn called our mutual friend who runs the Last Chance shop in Bromley who was also very happy to hear the news! Pleased to hear that he will be getting a new chip, collar and ID tag. Stay safe little Dylan and don't go giving your family any more frights.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news Dylan is on his way HOME. Just had a very emotional owner ring up with the news.  Money has changed hands but they are so pleased to have him back.  He will be getting Chipped a.s.a.p.  Family are over the moon and want to thank DL for all their help.  Great to be moving him into the blue.  Welcome home Dylan.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Yasa and Majorjet. I have called Dylan's owners offering help/advice both yesterday evening and this morning. Sundridge Park is a very nice area and so hope it won't be long until Dylan is back home with his family. Dylan's family, I'm sure you've already covered this, but make sure you visit the local golf course (hand out mini flyers to the golfers) and ask them to display Dylan's poster in and outside the clubhouse and do the same at the railway station. The golf course is just the sort of place a lost dog would head for - nice and quiet, a water source and perhaps food left around the clubhouse. Good Luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

1.45 a.m. Have been emailing back and forth with family to update the details.  Dylan's breed changed from Terrier Cross, Reward and owner's mobile numbers now added.  Family are postering the area and will be doing door to door.  Once the posters start getting in the right areas and the Council Authorites etc are back in work hopefully they will get the call they are waiting for and we will see Dylan in the blue.  Good luck.  Jan x Further Advice/Info also emailed with Scenting Instructions if required.   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've just been sent two pics from the owners.  I can't upload them for some reason.  Will ask owners to email direct to admin@doglost.co.uk.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've just added Dylan to the site, having had a call from his very upset owners.  He went missing last night and they've been searching for him since then.  They've put up lots of posters - as far as Chatterton Road, Bromley, in the Last Chance shop, and also local pubs.  I've advised owners to print out details with their phone numbers on to give out to dog walkers in the area.   When they get home they'll email a picture of their boy.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
