There is a similar looking dog at Springfiled Kennels www.lostdogsyorkshire.com with a red collar on. These are strays found in and around Leeds and Wakefield

There isnt a pic of Chump but he is a slim dog, predominantly black with white chest and is neutered.  He  has a 3/4 tail. Owner is missing him terribly but believes he may have got stuck in a hole  - but after searching the area he hasnt been found as yet. It certainly wouldnt have been beyond the realms of possibilities as Harewood isnt too far from Harrogate and as we  know dogs, can be found many miles away from where they originally went missing from.

Doglover have just seen it myself and rang owner to alert him.   He has rung Chris Gallagher and the dog has been reunited with its owner.  We must have crossed posts !!   Thank you so much though.   Sadly Chump is still missing   Helen

Have just read this on www.alfieslostdogs.co.uk - under found terriers, patterdale etc. Found east keswick - woodhall bridge nr Harewood Yorkshire. A black and white patterdale terrier dog, male found on sunday at Kearby after swimming across river to a gentleman, he came from east keswick side of river ? Being looked after now on a farm Tele nos 01274 561047 or 07790 674302, posted by chris Gallagher. really not sure if this area is close by ??? but best of luck in fnding this boy.

Capricorn rescue say they haven't any Patterdales in so the site must not have been updated.

Have sent owner a picture of the dog at Capricorn rescue and he thinks this might be Chump. He is going to call me back when he has spoken to them.

There is a patterdale cross on the link below.  Is black with a white chest - between 2 and 3 years old.  Definately worth a look. http://www.capricornrescue.org/homeless/dogs/20090617-gyp.html Julie x
