Why didn't the finder contact the dog warden to see if he had been reported as missing? It could have saved the owner a lot of worry.

Just to let you know we have found Sammy, he was all the way in north lincolnshire with a lovely family who took great care of him. he was found in wednesbury by there daughter but she couldnt look after him so took him to her mom in lincoln. After a 6 hour round trip he is back safe and sound. Thanks for your help in finding him. Email I've just received from Sammy's owner. Great news, Welcome home little man. Barbara xxx

Just spoken to owner. Little Sammy is still missing. They are putting up posters and have notified all the right authorities. They will send a photo either to me or to Admin as soon as possible. Fingers crossed he's home very soon xxx

Please check posted today on www.alfieslostdogs.co.uk - under found Yorkies, pugs etc. Found  Yorkie, Large Male, West Midlands, Found 30.08.09, Large Yorkshire Terrier. sorry no picture but email address of contact. Good luck.
