Hi Everyone - i've tried to call today as i've spent alot of time chasing various Dog Wardens about this dog to see if it was my Pippa.  Steph (lady who found the dog) was very helpful and great comfort to me, thank you steph.  However this was not Pippa and i did have it confirmed by the warden and the kennel where this dog was held that the owner did come forward and collect the dog.  Just trying to save anyone the work of trying to find its owner.  By all means call the west berkshire dog warden service who will confirm.
Pippa, forever in my thoughts, we will find you baby xxxx

have corrected details she was found on the A4 Newbury to Reading road at a place called Theale...so very close to Reading and not Newbury. Also have been informed warden only briefly scanned her neck...so may have a migrated chip.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks jeepsmi, but the only one of those 3 (stolen in their owners Landrover from Cliffe, Kent) that is still missing is the chocolate/liver Cocker.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any chance that this might be one of the three  stolen with a vehicle in Kent last year? I think one of them was found ages after somewhere on the outskirts of London, but have not heard about the other two.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Steph the Spaniel you have said looks like the one you have found is Forton ID 18395 and is a male, if you have got the sex right on both dogs they cannot be the same.  Thanks for checking for a match on DL hope the found Spaniel is reunited back with its owner and well done for taking the time to rescue it.  I have alerted Forton's owner to the difference on both dogs as you have posted on his page and Gina has asked for more details.  Cheers.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dog ID 19449 and 14085 (Buffy) are both possibilities - both black and white cocker spaniels and they were stolen. Julie xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
