Had a text from owner earlier and have not had chance to ring up.  Not long received another text: Hi, just to let you know we have found Alfie, one of the usual walkers had found him on Saturday. Thanks for your help! X So pleased Alfie is back home, his owner said he is glad to see them and will send a photo to us.  Well done to the walkers and welcome home Aflie great to see you going into the blue.  Jan x

Yes it is Preston, Lancashire.  I've updated the area.  Tried to contact owner again by phone (12.50 p.m.) switched off, maybe in work.  Will send another text but nothing we can do if we do not get anymore info from owner and a photo or similar one.  Jan x

Message left earlier tonight requesting a photo and how he has gone missing.  Have now emailed advice/info. If picked up in the area he would be taken to Leigh Cats & Dogs Home on the East Lancs Road 01942 67125 or 0870 7501247 details have been sent to his owner.

Sorry to see Alfie has gone missing, thanks for registering his details onto DL.  Can you please upload a photo or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 19730).  Any problems with photo/s let us know. What are the circumstances, has he gone missing from home or on a lak?  If on a walk return to the area you last seen him and leave an item of clothing in a safe place. You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Once the posters start getting circulated hopefully you will get the call you are waiting for. Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great that he has been Chipped contact the Chip Co to report him missing and check your details are up to date.  If you get any sightings let us know or if he is reunited with you.  Good luck and hope Alfie back home with you soon.  Jan x
