aww i love this breed,...shame i cant see a picture of her, but probs a good idea if your all saying she looks sad, because i would get upset.
I would love to home her...is she rough or smooth coated ?
And shes having pups as well, poor little thing and her babies.
Cannot believe her owners are out there somewhere an all.

Hi , update on this little lady..she is pregnant and due to give birth in a couple of weeks!  She is much improved and will now come over and accept cuddles and will even play :) . Very hopeful that she will find herself with a lovely home, but will have to wait until babies have left home She and her offspring will be rehomed by the RSPCA The Ark Stubbington Fareham Hampshire. Thank you everyone ,Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi an update on this little girl, she is now in the hands of the local RSPCA and is slowly getting less scared.I have been contacted by a lady from Leeds claiming the Bradford dog warden told her to contact me as she lost a similar looking dog in Feb this year. I am awiting further confirmation./ a photo / etc./  and therefore asked for my pic to be removed. I am still convinced somone must know her and be missing her and it may well be this aldy..but until she contacts me...jan    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

message in e mail: Hi Sue, Going on her colour I would say a cross. She actually let me stroke her this morning with her eyes fixed on me!! Someone has obviously  been pretty  bad  to her. Jan Nunn Dog Control OfficerLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh how sad and scared she looks. As the owner of two dachsies, one very timid, my heart goes out to her, hope she is reunited with owners or rehomed very soon she will hate it in kennels. Really hope when assessing her for rehoming they make allowances of the timidness that can be in this breed. Keep us posted please .Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I keep coming back hopefully to see that the original owners have claimed her.  Breaks my heart everytime i look at her sad little face and her longing to be loved look.  Really want to help this girl. As i said my mum would take her in and she would like the life she should be living. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pictures like this break my heart. The poor little thing looks just so frightened and sad.  I do hope that she either finds her owners or a loving home soon where she can be well looked after and loved.  You are safe now little girl.  Julie xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor girl.  The picture is so heart wrenching (please change it!!).  If she needs a new home and no one comes forward for her, she looks the sort of girly my mum would be happy to have.  She lives on her own since my dad died and needs a companion.  Big house, big garden, very quiet area.  Please keep us updated on this girl. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

this little lamb is absolutely terrified ! she has allowed a female to stroke her briefly whilst being given food, other than that people scare her. I have my feelings of where she may have come from in the short term BUT am concerned that she may have been stolen at some point in the past.If anybody has any info please contact me on 01329236100 ext 2553 ..janLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
