I’ve just received fantastic news that Connie has been found.
She was picked up as a stray.  Thank dOg for microchipping.
She’s safe and sound and now at home where she belongs.

That news has made my day.

I have spoken with owner this afternoon and given advice on approach tactics and leaving scented clothing at the spot where she was last seen, owners do not have a picture of her as they only rehomed her in June but we are trying to get a similar dog picture for the posters. The area that she has been lost is a local park and leads on to the river area, there is lots of ground cover and bushes for her to hide in, I have recommeded that owners go out at dusk and again at first light. If anyone knows the area it is near to where the new apartments are being built by Noon Layer drive. I have been out and spoken to loads of walkers and dog owners this afternoon and given out cards to people. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have crossposted the link to several email groups I am on .. hopefully that will mean more people on the look out - I have all fingers crossed that she is found safe and well very soon indeed.   Stay safe.   I have also posted details on our Valgrays website: http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/hotnews.htm  PS:  A photo would be very useful.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I’ve crossposted to ObedienceUK, ukshowdogs, BFA discussion board, topdogsUK, Animal Rehoming UK, Petsearch, Valgrays, and to various other lists/addresses.
Her age and a photo would be very useful.  I hope she will be found safe and sound very quickly.
