Crossposted ... thought this might be worth following up for this dog? Two whippet type dogs were found yesterday afternoon in Shepshed one is grey with white chest and socks, the other is brindle colour.  They were found the top end of Shepshed which is not far from junction 23 so could have been dumped from anywhere.  Neither had collars on they have been taken to College Garth Kennels in Hathern which is near Loughborough.  Their telephone number is 01509 842327.

Sophie, many thanks for contacting the owner. Let's hope that this chap will be home soon. If not he will be featured in The Countryman's Weekly magazine in a few weeks.

Hi,  Have spoken to owners family, have advised to put up more posters and have given them numbers of other pound's around Warwickshire.  Hopefully this little man will come back or is found save and well.
