I spoke with the owner the morning after my last reply... It appears the dog slipped it's collar & lead near to B & Q , Lower Belvedere - the owner had bought the dog a month before - most recent sighting was allegedly last Monday in Nuxley Village. The owner had put posters up allover the same area and said posters had been removed, so it is possible someone has the dog and is trying to pass it off as their own?   I rang the kennels that cover for Bexley Council and there was another smoothcoat male taken to Battersea within the same time frame - owner confirms she attended Battersea and it was not her dog and appeared to be a cross-Chi male ginger in colour.   I have spoken with Petcare local vets and they have the description, Chihuahua rescue who have not had any similar dogs in during last 2 weeks. Dog World newspaper are going to (hopefully) put something into this Friday's issue about this dog. Details put up on Facebook and our RubyScrumptious.com members forums - I have also fwd'd to various dog trainers etc. Michelle-RubyScrumptious   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I run a Chihuahua group in the area and this is the first I've heard of this one...I logged in to have a look as someone we know mentioned seeing a lost dog card at Asda's Bexleyheath for a Chihuahua (not even sure if this is the same one?) but unfortunately they didn't take down any details. I'll try the mobile number in the morning but if it's a Doglost helper's number can someone put me in touch with the owner please? Will put the poster link up on my Facebook as alot of our members are in the immediate area. Do we know the circumstances? and has anyone checked with the Kennels that take found dogs on behalf of Bexley Council because they don't have a dog warden? and/or Battersea etc?  Thanks, Michelle www.rubyscrumptious.com 07841 517533Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will keep an eye out for this little lad. Have you tried Animal Samaritans in Belvedere ? They have dogs handed in to them all the time.
Good luck, hope he is home soon.
