Hope this dog is captured very soon. If anyone finds a border collie, I list the missing ones on the Valgrays Border Collie Rescue website (page link below, scroll down), there are photos (where available) of missing dogs and the doglost link, so if anyone wants to compare found with missing it might be easier to compare on there.  I try to keep it as up to date as my time allows. http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/hotnews.htmLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have rung and spoken to " finder".    This dog was sighted  around 8.30 am this morning but not caught !!. Seen on the Taunton - Minehead road ( A358) near the West Bagborough turn off  on a country road ( Nethercott road ) .  The finder isnt 100% but says she feels pretty sure it was a male (from looking at it  -- and has a bitch herself) "He" was in the middle of the road picking up a dead rabbit so she stopped and put her hazard lights on as get a few motorbikes travelling fast on the road.   Thankfully there wasnt much about but the collie ran to the hedge and was trying to find a way back through ( still with the rabbit in mouth so must be hungry, poor soul.)  She is going to go back again tomorrow morning armed with a lead ( and suggested pilchards/sardines ) to see if she can catch this dog.  There are "travellers" in the area and has been a fair there during the last week also.   She has looked at the pic of 14798 and thinks it is very similar  as she said noted there was a lot of white on face but would be great if this one can be caught to check if is def. male . I've emailed Border Collie Rescue regarding this one also. Thank you so much to the finder for your help -- you're a star !!! Helen x    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
