Email from family member on behalf of owner: After our conversation last night re my sons missing dog, coco, he rang Rochdale Rescue to find that the rescued bitch, Willow, was sadly not Coco as she was in season and Coco had been spayed, we would like to thank you so much for your vigilance and appreciate your support at this terrible time.   I would like to update you by notifying you of two sightings by different people in Bruntwood Park on Thursday October 8th and then also one on October 11th just adjacent to this park crossing large roundabout going back towards this same park, this week we also have her in lost section of Manchester Evening News (MEN) and also in Wilmslow, Stockportand Macclesfield Advertisers,  MEN is for Wed Thurs and Friday.   Its hard to keep positive but you helped me to do so last night with our phone conversation, many thanks again Bumped due to sightings and being in the papers.  Good luck hope this brings some more sightings of Coco.  SCENTING/MAPPING Instructions re-emailed to family.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Coryn for the phone call this morning letting us know the found dog is not Coco as she has come into season, good job she is still not straying.  Mark thanks also to you for ringing tonight, sorry the found one was not Coco.  Let us know when she is in the papers again so we can bump her page up.  Once your computer is fixed it would be great if you could post updates.  Keep up the brilliant work.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to the family a few times tonight.  They have seen the photo and say the likeness is uncanny and will contact the kennels tomorrow.  This found girl looks younger than Coco in the photo but so much like her.  Family have had phonecalls of sightings, I've discussed how she may behave if she is seen by her family and they must mark all sightings.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

http://www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com/urgentdogs.html There is a boxer cross on RDR, tried to contact owner to see if Coco is still missing and alert them to this dog, no answer on mobile or landline.  Jan x No. 2524: WILLOW
SAFE: Willow has a rescue space secured.
Boxer Cross, female, approximately 3 years old. She is brindle in colour with a black mask and white markings. Willow has a smooth coat and she is medium in size. She is the sweetest girl, quiet and steady and appears to be good with other dogs. Willow loves her cuddles and would be happy being cuddled all day long! She will be going to a rescue in Lancaster on Wednesday 14th October 2009 if she is not claimed.

Thanks Hazel for helping out on the NW dogs. Coco has been registered on DL by a friend of her owner.  I've emailed info/advice and also various size posters to them.  Once a few details have been confirmed I will update the posters and email out to rescues and helpers etc.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
