I'm so glad this little girl is safe. I regularly used to take my dogs on boats but never had one overboard. I've currently got two Jackies, one of whom loves water and the other who hates it. So you never know. Lucky girl, anyway.

What a relief, welcome back to your boat Belle!  I know from experience that Jack Russells often love swimming but Belle may not have been so lucky. I'm so glad, made my night. xx

Great news !!!!!!! Belle has been found. How lucky is that ?? I am so very very pleased you are safe Belle, little lady xx And thank you so much everyone who has responded AGAIN ! xx Email from our lovely helper Shoestring :- I just spoke to the owners to find out where they were and see if I could get some posters to them but they are on their way to pick her up now, someone found her in Acle. Great news!

Many thanks Hazel for the flyers and posters. I have E-mailed posters to contacts around Acle. Have contacted vets local to Acle and also spoken to boatyards at Acle. Will carry on E-mailing as many people as I can think of that live local. Stay safe little one xxx

A4 Poster and flyers created and emailed to co-ordinator Helen. Owners are not on internet, as are on holiday, moored on a boat where Bella has jumped into the river from, so all help appreciated please.

Photo cropped and uploaded. Will do posters and flyers. Poor baby - I hope there are loads of people in the area to help. I'm sure dog walkers will do all they can if as many as possible can be alerted.

Have contacted owners who are here on holiday from Mancester. They are on a boating holiday and are based at Acle. Belle jumped into the water last night at 8.45. The Broads Authority were notified and searched the river for a good 2 hours. I will be notifying all vets and rescues for the owner as they do not know the area and  have no internet access.A photo will be on very soon
