- This is terrible news. Poor little Poppy - how can the 'people' who did this live with themselves? RIP little Poppy - there will be lots of new friends waiting for you at the Bridge.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I'm so very sorry to hear this awful news - my thoughts are with Poppy's owners. Such vile people to cause her death. If only these morons could understand the consequences of what they consider to be acceptable in our society. I Just hope that they get their come-uppance. I wonder whether the local paper would cover this story so that local people are aware of the type of people they have living around them and, who knows, it may even prick the conscience of these low lifes, especially as they may also be dog owners themselves. Rest in peace beautiful Poppy - sweet dreams girlie... xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Petsearch has just updated us with the saddest news: "Our worst fears were founded when we heard that Poppy the Toy
Poodle who escaped during a house burglary at Hilton nr. Burton on
Trent was found killed in a road traffic accident. Our hearts go out to
her owners who weren’t bothered about anything stolen providing they
got Poppy back safely, she was their life. No matter how much we
protect our dogs we can’t protect them against this type of thingso
very sad..RIP Sweet Little Poppy." We at Doglost offer our heartfelt sympathy to Poppy’s people.
