I went to see Sadie earlier and shes in pretty good shape Shes very pleased to be home ,We Still dont know how and why she was handed in,but we do know she was handed in to Langley police station. The DW has given the finder Sadies owners number so they can call them if they wish, but they havnt had a call yet.Her leg seems quite bad possibly an older injury left to heal on its own??will find out more tomorrow from the vets.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

SADIES COMING HOME!!!!!!!! Owners leaving now ,ill be meeting up with them when they get back so will get  a little piccie. They have been through such a nightmare this weekend as the message left didnt give any details of if she was ok or anything.the phonecall left was actually from the council!! no number left to call back or anything! AnywayThe main thing is Sadie is ok and her three and a half month ordeal and nightmare is going to be over in about three quarters of and hour! then hopefully all our heart rates can return to normal!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

23.48 What a day!!!! right, we think weve found Sadie! her owner had a call at 7pm this evening saying that Sadie has been found, and that she would have to hand her over to the slough dogwarden.this must be true as the only way she would know her name is through the microchip especialy as shes all the way over in slough because she wouldnt of seen the posters. she said she would call her back 10 mins later which the call never came(number witheld). so ive tried to contact out of hours dog warden which gave me no joy,ive left a message though and ive sent an email also im hopeing to the right place as i got the email adress off of a 2008 post its     jackie.singer@slough.gov.uk  does anyone know if this is right?? ive also been advised to call batersea in the morning which we will do!!! One of the possible sightings ended up being some one elses dog,we havnt had any sightings for just about  three weeks now.we are still postering but some body is going round in one particular area and removing them!so we put more up only to find they are being taken down again! poor sadie ,its cold out there! have found a poss place she may be taking rubbish so we are putting food down there in the hope it is her but have seen nothing.wish we could have another sighting.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There has been 3 more poss sightings of Sadie since this date ,we are all convinced it is her, as if it was another stray ,we would of heard by now.So today between 30-35 people turned up to look for her. We covered a huge area (masses of woodland)  from the  last sighting and swept the woods through back towards home .Unfortunately nobody sighted her.but we are hopeing and praying we may of pushed her back towards home. Come on Sadie darling ,Where are you? Its time to come home now, hopefully someone will see you,so we know where to look next. Please stay safe, were all thinking of you.XXXXXXX also a Big Thanks to everyone who helped today,I know Liz and Lee realy appreciated it!.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

weve all been out looking in the area at different times of day/night, with no sightings apart from a possible one a week ago but it was so dark  i could only see a siloette so coundnt see markings/colourings,of a dog in the woods that was being realy cautious, it stopped and slinked back into the undergrowth, realy couldnt tell if it was her or not, that was one sighting maybe but thats it! there are some travellers sites  around and also ive noticed alot of dogs are being found in the finchampstead area! bit of a coincidence isnt it?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
