- Really pleased to hear Pixie is home and safe and doing well i know we all worry about the lost dogs but some are a lot more vulnerable and more of a worry and you can't stop thinking about them like Pixie and perhaps the owner of the spaniels will lend them out to locate some more missing dogs

- Pixi is doing fine. Once she was warmed up, dried out and home with her family and had eaten something, she gave no sign of being affected by the incident and started playing with the other dogs. Being brain damaged may have helped her here, as her reactions are different from those of the average dog. She may well have forgotten all about it.

- All I can say is thank goodness. I've been so worried about this little girl. I hope that she is able to recover completely from her ordeal and also hope that it's nothing more than exhaustion, lack of food, warmth and water. Sending get well wishes to Pixi and keeping everything crossed for a good recovery.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Finder's springer spaniels found Pixi unconscious in a ditch. He got her home and warmed her up. No problem calling her mum, thanks to collar and tag. I'll update some more later. Have left message for Dora's Dad so he doesn't set out to look for her.

- I'm really sorry to hear that Pixie is missing and so vulnerable. The RSPCA are close by to that area - I think they are at a place called Ridge. It is certainly close to London Colney. I'm sure that they have already been alerted, but thought I would mention it just in case they haven't been. Pixie may be handed in there. Hope there is some news soon and that she is soon back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Copied from circumstance box. Someone shouted at her and she ran away from owner toawrds the big roundabout at London Colney near the motorway. Pixi is brain damaged as well as almost blind and is a very vulnerable dog. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- More info on location: Pixi crossed the roundabout and motorway area on the B5378 Shenley Lane, and was last seen in the area of that road and the B556.

- Photo is on way. Pixi belongs to a disabled owner and help is needed in the area of London Colney. Dog warden has been called and is on way to help look for this girl.
