Very sad to read this news - this is another case of a needless death of a pet caused by swimming pools not being required to be fenced in

Have received word through k9search that a fawn bitch has been found near Dudley in the Black Country. Alas she does not seem to be microchipped but still could be Saffron.

Ran the mobile number today and the man said it was his daughter's dog and was sold to someone in Essex. I don't think it was Saffron. r

I received a callthis mornig from a local lady to say she had seen a pug in a gypsy encampment in Wrye Piddle Worcestershire. The police went in and found it was a male fawn pug

Sadly no sign at Stow today, but talked to the police who were all aware, and saw lots of posters up, lets hope this gets a result soon

Just spoken with owner. She is going to start postering today, gave her lots of advice how to go about this, and where to start from. Owner has been checking all places where Saffron might have got caught. Ive suggested she call local farmers and keepers to keep an eye open as rural area.Saffron is going in the Gloucestershire Echo today.
