It's fantastic news that Holly is home with her owners.  Had a phone call from delighted owner to say they had a call stating where she was and she was collected this morning from RSPCA Halifax. It was the posters that alerted the people who had found her very close to where she went missing. They had taken her home with them and later handed her in to RSPCA Halifax. The finders saw the posters , contacted the owners and informed them where she had been taken. She is now also microchipped ! Welcome home lovely girl !!! Yipeeeeeeeeee Holly is home !! she had been found by a lady at the time she went missing who then handed her in to the RSPCA. Somehow this was missed in the system  ?? !! Holly has just been  reunited because  the finder saw her missing posters and  notified the owners where Holly was. In view of the time lapse involved here Holly's owners were extremely lucky she had not been rehomed ! Holly is now chipped but I have told the owners to check she is chipped to them and not thr RSPCA ! welcome home Holly and stay safe from now on xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

sadly there is still no news of Holly. Owners have been searching the area she was last seen running off to and are returning there regularly. Lots of posters are up and owners will continue with this There is a lot of local public awareness especially amongst the local dog walkers and  its is hoped a lost advert for Holly will be in this weeks local paper. i have also nominated Holly to appear in the doglost column in The Countrymans Weekly which will hopefully be in the next week or two.Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dogs often return to the area where they last saw owner, so make sure you keep checking back there. Also, leave an item of clothing with your scent on it there, to try and keep her in the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
