hi all. a friend’s been to check the rspca today - no luck. Someone said to me that maybe that fact max is not found i.e picked up means he’s found a good home; somewhere safe and warm and loving. thats all i can hope for. I had him for a few weeks when i lost him. i have now lost him for longer than i had him; so if he is with someone else and has been for more than 4 weeks then he may be more theirs than mine.. thank you for so many kind messages and help; so amazingly amazingly kind. Ylva

Ylva thanks for replying to quickly and for the email.  It is so hard when there has been no sightings and the worst is not knowing where he is.  We are all praying that one day he will end up in Halewood RSPCA, one of the other rescues or someone recognises him through a poster or on DL.  There are people in the area who are still looking out for him.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear shereen and lucky's mum Thank you for the possible sightings, thank you so much. We really don't think they are them; but they both were close resemblances. I have a friend visiting, who met Max, the RSPCA in Halewood but no luck. I am hoping that wherever he is he is safe and well........ love and thanks for all Ylva x do call if any sightings 07957426390  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks everyone for your support, it means a lot to Ylva. I've spoken to RSPCA first thing this morning, they do not think it is Max but a lurcher.  Have made contact with Yvla and she is going to also contact them and myself or friend will call into the kennels to double check he is not there.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

18.30 p.m.  Msg on my house phone from Halewood RSPCA, there maybe a possible match for Max in the kennels.  Too late to ring them now, I've been trying to get in touch with Ilva who is now back in Scotland to let her know but it keeps going straight onto answer phone.  Will contact the RSPCA tomorrow.  Would be brilliant if it was him.  Fingers crossed.  Jan x Bumped due to possible match.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

so he has moved from Allerton to Garston he must be covering a pretty large area. Will take a look again in that area tomorrow. Worth contacting the railway as there is lots of gaps onto the lines in that area.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Text rcvd from helper who reported sighting: Hi Jan, I've put posters up in my Uni Campus in Aigburth, the Esso garage (formerly Texaco), Netto (near the garage) and a shop near to the garage called Love and Light. Thanks so much for doing this you are a star.  CJ moral support is brilliant especially with Ilva being back home in Scotland, which is making her feel so helpless.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Reported sighting Wed 28th approx 16.30 p.m. near the Esso garage right by a Netto store, he was running along the road (Garston Way L19) which is the continuation of Aigburth Road & St Mary's Road heading towards Speke Retail Park.  Ilva was contacted yesterday and we've spoken a few times since.  I've just also spoken to the person who reported the sighting.  I've driven round the area this morning.  There is access to Garston Docks which does have a gate and is closed of a night, there is a watchman's hut but there was no-one in there.  The person who sighted him is going to help with friends to search for Max and put posters up.  Thank you for all your help and hope you do manage to register on DL. Also alerted  the RSPCA to the sighting.  Come on Max we want to see you in the blue.  Jan x BUMPED DUE TO Sighting.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Lucky's Mum and welcome on board Doglost, I will email the posters to you.  Ilva has now had to back to Scotland and it is great to be getting some more help in the area to look out for him in her absence.  Ilva will be returning when she can and if he is found will come back to collect him.  Arrangements have been made for me to be able to collect him from the RSPCA if he is handed in.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Text from Ilva: Reported sighting in Crawford Avenue running towards Penny Lane. Got scared and ran off. Seen between 8-9pm Weds eve. Please keep looking and thanks so much to those who phoned. If you see him best to stand still somewhere safe and call his name clearly allow him to come to you, as he may scare and run off if you run after him. Thank you so much.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Max was in last nights Liverpool Echo. Ilva has had a phonecall of a sighting, he was seen last night in Crawford Ave L18.  Greenbank Park is not far and there is a water source there, also Calderstones Park and Sefton Park are nearby.  Unfortunately Ilva has not got Internet Acess at the moment but is going to send a txt which I can copy onto here. Great there has been a sighting.  I am unwell and laid up in bed at the moment and would of been more than willing to help look for Max.  Good luck Ilva we are willing him to be back home with you.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
