Have not heard from my MP. typical all talk and no action.Useless .......

I noticed on the letters i have been receiving from the rspca at Horsham that the Patrons are the Queen and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to write to them both with my story, and how do i address them both in a letter as i do not tend to mix with the likes, can anyone help. I think it may be worth a try. Gary.X.

I was told by Kath who used to work for doglost that Cassie should be in the August issue of dogs monthly. Great stuff and hopefully some more mags too. Thank you all so much Gary.X.
gary
Thank you for the post on twitter as i was having a problem getting it sorted myself. Gary.X.
gary
My local MP called me the other day and he said he will write to Horsham rspca, so that might help also, plus i have sent my story to some womans mags, so may get a bored house-wife who knows what to do and wants to get her teeth into this. Come-on Ladies ,the more the merrier. Thank you all aswell as always. Gary.XX.

Hiya still on the case. I couldnt get my words up as i ran out of time here at the library on saturday.I received a data request from the rspca and i think it is incomplete,so i have sent it to the ICO and hopefully they will investigate the story. The last letter i got from the rspca stated that they no longer want to correspond with me as the cost would be better spent on needy animals, which is fine. I just hope its not going on their enormous wages the top ones no doubt get.If they no longer want to deal with me then they can now deal with the ICO and other parties who will be interested. I have still been on the case just dont have enough time to update everyone. Ill keep on searching for onother 7 years, thats when she will have probably passed. Hopefully the ICO can get the truth from the rspca.Gary.
AlisonH
Glad to hear you're still on the case Gary. Good luck.
wickedweims
cassie is in dogs monthly
gary
Still dealing with the rspca and being messed around still. Keep on at them until i get my friend back with me.
gary
I have sent a data request to the rspca and they have 15 days left to reply, if they dont then i go to the Ombudsman and then see what the rspca have to say. Come on rspca, do the right thing, its my dog.

Hi all, i have had some information recently. If anyone has any friends or family in the Croydon area could you let them know about Cassie and ask them to keep a look out for her.It maybe a load of rubbish but its worth a try.I am thinking of the Croydon local newspapers myself. Will keep you updated Thanks Gary.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you Daisymay66 & Shereen for your support. I think she is probably rehomed or an officer has kept her as everyone who new her would have, and did want her anyway as she is such a friendly loveable character. Who-ever has got her will have had the pleasure for just a short while. I have had the pleasure for many many years, since she was ten weeks old. I feel the rspca are soon going to be very embarassed and good, especially for the way they have played me, and are still. Thank you again ladies, its just what i need.XX. ps Sorry i cant help you Shereen with the facebook stuff, have no real knowledge of it. Gary.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Don't know the full story here, obviously, but it adds to my already low regard for the RSPCA. I have seen their incompetance, and indifference. Now it seems they are dishonourable too. The least they could do, if a mistake was made, is to make a full disclosure and apology. Does anyone know if they still have this beautiful little dog? I really have no help to offer, but maybe someone on here is a legal person or ex-RSPCA. My heart goes out to you, Gary.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Gary, im now a member on facebook and am looking on how to start this( i think i nee to start a new group) but if you know any different let me know,I have a friend who is Brilliant with computers and so im going to get him to help me.Meanwhile ill call you (probably the 2nd) and get more details from you, we can exchange numers then.Is Cassie still in the care of the RSPCA or rehomed?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you so much for your support it is very uplifting to know that other people understand my situation and are helping.I am not to bothered about the legal side because if the rspca were to take me to court for saying the wrong thing or whatever, then all would come out about my Cassie, and then the rspca would have to come clean about lying. I have forwarded some blown up photos to Alison and hope they look better. Thanks again, all the best for the new year to you all.Gary.XXXXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Gary,   Ill do what i can to spread the word, and i think maybe he should see how the rspca re-acts when he lets them know what hes thinking of doing , if that gets him nowhere (depending on legal issues and advice ) I think he should go for it! Ive got loads of people who use face book and will get them to spread the word, after the next few busy days ill get on facebook myself ( not a member yet,but will join)and get something sorted.Theres got to be a way!!.XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Shereen. I have just had a text from Gary and he has asked me to thank you for your support. Gary only has internet access from the library so is very limited in what he can do. If you are able to help in any way such as spreading the word on Facebook I know he would be more than grateful. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thank you shereen i am now considering phoning meridian news after the holiday they are our local coverage and ask them if they would be interested in my story. i dont think the rspca would like the publicity, do you, but heh i only ever wanted my dog back.i have been fighting with them for nearly a year now writing letters and making calls.i will inform them of what i am going to do and see what they say, just to give them a chance to come clean and get my friend/companion back to me.thanks for the support.if you want the whole story speak to Alison at doglost or please call me 07866272551 .thanks unhappy gary.merry xmas all.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rspca have now written to Gary admitting that they did indeed visit the property after denying it on another occassion. CAB are looking in to helping with the legal side of this sad story and hopefully one day Gary will be reunited with the lovely Cassie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
