I am so very sorry and sad to see that Mia has gone to rainbow bridge. I had been following her story as she looks just like one of my labs. Run free at the bridge beautiful girl and im glad that she did eventually get home although not in the way that everybody wanted. xxx

Owner has just rung with the sad news that Mia has been involved in a fatal train accident.  They have been able to get Mia's body from the track and take her home to be buried in the garden.  Family are obviously upset but would like to thank everyone for their help and support.  They did get phonecalls from people also offering to help look for her via the coverage in The Champion, thank you for being so kind. Not the outcome we like to see on DL.  Run free at the Bridge lovely Mia and sweet dreams sweeheart.  Jan x

Family contacted Leigh Cats & Dogs Home today thought Mia was there but unfortunately the chip details did not match.  Jan x

Jan or Jayne, you can give the owner's my phone number or email. There is a boarding kennels on Crowland Street, she may go there? Need to poster High Park area, pet shop and busy chip shop. Also town centre, McDonalds, tourist office, railway station and Visiter & Champion newspapers, will put on local website.

23.55 p.m.  Various size posters now done and emailed to Owner.  Posters and emailed to DW's, Rescues, RSPCA's, Dog Trg Clubs, DL helpers and Co-ordinator Goldenfrodo.  If anyone is able to help with the postering and spread the word please let us know and posters can be emailed to you. Thanks.  Fingers crossed Mia is found soon and reunited with her family.  Jan x

Family have been out today continuing their search.  They have not checked their emails to confirm poster is o.k. they are going to email more photo/s and once done can update the posters and email to rescues etc. I checked in Halewood RSPCA today in case she had been handed in.  Jan x

Spoken to one of Mia's owners.  She went missing with their other Lab on Thursday evening from the garden, family went out searching and found Honey a few roads away in Crowland Road.  They have done all the right things and contacting the right people and also Petlog.  Sending more photo/s a.s.a.p.  I'll do various size poster and email further advice/info shortly.  Jan x
