It appears Kiss was dumped ( in an area where other dogs have been recovered) Owner had informed all farmers in the area and luckily an estate manager found her and rang local farmer who was able to inform him of where Kiss lived...another night and she may not have made it. Welcome home Kiss!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is also another organisation called Dog Watch for people that live in the Thames Valley Police Area. These are fully recognised by TVP. There contact details are Dogwatch, Ewelme Park, Nettlebed, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 6DZ. Tel: 01491 641668. It might be worth giving them a call too. They are a free service and have a dedicated 'Dogwatch' officer at police headquarters. Who circulates details to all rural beat officers, rehoming centres and Dog Wardens within the Thames Valley Area. I have a leaflet to send off to join up that I picked up from my local pet shop. I have emailed police contacts in Thames valley- which is the force that covers readig areas- asking about this increase in this area. Im sure they are aware and while it may seem nothing is being done often with cases of theft work is happening behind the scenes and also not all infomation would be passed back to us and would also not be put on site as we know that theives of dogs often go online and read commnets on this site and other sites and therefore we would not want to jepadise any leads or alert any thief.  CJLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
