Thanks Bettysmom for letting us know, I'll alert Furlover who is a Co-ordinator for the area and has spoken to her owner.  Great she has been found.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I spoke to the owners at the weekend and Ellie is back home safe and sound. They received a call of a sighting, shot straight over and found her. Don't know if you need to confirm that with the owner before you officially mark her as re-united.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang for an update and owners received a call to say Ellie was sighted Friday in the area of the boarding kennels. around Lane Head Lane / Per Lane / Halifax Golf Club.  Owner was out yesterday searching the area. Hopefully more sightings will come in and this girl caught soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner and have advised re notifying surrounding dog wardens, vets in the area and the importance of postering   Owners have been out and putting posters up Ellie  has only been with current owners for 8 weeks and went missing during a walk but was in boarding kennels at the time. There was a reported sighting of her which was last Saturday in the Illingworth/ Ogden  reservoir area so have suggested owners check that area and poster it heavily. Fingers crossed this girl is found soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang owner again tonigh.  Again went to message service   Owner if you read this post please ensure you check with Springfield Kennels at Flushdyke, Ossett,  Fleet Kennels at Queensbury Bradford, and Mount Pleasant Kennels at Hampole, Doncaster as these are the kennels used by Bradford and Leeds Dog Wardens.   You will also need to ensure that you have registered Ellie with Calderdale Council Dog warden, Leeds Dog Warden, Bradford Dog Warden and do get posters up asap and as many as possible in the area. It might also be worth checking with RSPCA HALIFAX also . I hope to speak with you soon Keeping my fingers crossed Ellie is found quickly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
