- Email received just...This morning we found Dodo, and now he is with me safely.
Yesterdy someone phoned me at 5:00Pm said Dodo was in the Otters Brook park, and I asked a lady live near the park, she did see him as well another day, so we waited there this morning 4:00 AM for his appearance. it make more sense because there is a stream for him to get clear water at day time. at 9:40 this morning, I received another call, one lady driver saw him cross the ring load to the field between the travelodge and the A421 roundabout. I went there and he was in the middle of field. he run away from me when he saw me. and I decided to sit down instead of chasing him away.finally he approached back to me after couples minutes while he thought that was me.It's great to have him back. I booked vet tomorrow to confirm his health. he looks fine to me, eat and drink normal. Happy but very tired. All the posters and the ad in the paper did the trick. i am so over the moon! Will be off to see Vincent and Dodo sometime soon hopefully- will ask him to email you a re-united photo x

- hi Auntie Katie, i am not sure if any of those have been called.when i worked out he would prob travel away from the fireworks towards MK i phoned the milton keynes dw and then their holding centre which i think must be in northamptonshire as it was an 01604 no. i believe the owner has called the buckinghamshire dw but he didnt mention anyone else when i spoke to him on the phone.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I didn't realise this little chap could potentially be so close to me. Does anybody know if the Huntingdon and Cambridge DW have been called and Wood Green Animal Shelter? If not I will call them in the morning.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Put some more posters up and posted some-farms etc, this time south of the A421 in the villages and on public footpaths, then went for a walk and after that a drive around- loads of people walking dogs today and a few horseriders- gave them all posters in case they saw him on their travels. no sign of Dodo though :( Am disappointed someone has taken all of the posters down down by the river where the fishermen go as they sit there for hours and so would see him if he was around. A lot of the people i spoke to had seen Dodo in the newspapers ad- so thats one good thing. wish he would show himself again.. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Update: In response to an advert in the local paper- a lady called the owner this morning to say that she had seen Dodo by the A421 heading towards Milton Keynes shortly after he disappeared. Hopefully more sightings will soon be reported and we can narrow down the area where he may be now. Stay safe Dodo til we can find you.x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have emailed all local vets(that i could find an email addy for) as far as Aylesbury and Milton Keynes with a description of him etc in case he has been sold on and appears at a vets for any reason. The owner now has 2500 posters to distribute so fingers crossed someone will either know something or have seen him.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I will ring the owner and ask if he will email me the new poster, ill then pop it through letterboxes in my village (westbury, about 10 mins from buckingham). Thanks, fingers crossed he's home soon.x.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Lucy- i went out and postered a few hundred today. the owner has over 2000 he has had done from various sources coming tomorrow and has i believe arranged for some to be delivered but could prob use a hand with some of them if you give him a ring- he has an updated poster with reward details etc on.posters are already in the vets in wilmslow, buckingham and maids moreton- but if you know of any more locally i dont think they have been done. i cant get that way now til sunday as i live over an hour away and am working the rest of the week :( am hoping he is back home b4 there are too many more firework displays.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Reynard has received a reply from his owner with their own word doc poster attached, I've converted photo/s to jpg from poster and grouped together. Hope we see him in the blue soon. Good luck. - i forgot to add- this area has absolutely loads of well used looking footpaths criss crossing each other so plenty of trails and ppl using them which is good. Also a lot of livestock none of which looked disturbed as i was going round.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- i didnt see any posters but thats not to say that there arn't any as i left home pretty much as soon as i saw the log - i did drive to the small car park for the river walk and worked my way outwards, went to just about all the villages on that side almost as far as gt horwood but then it started getting dark, stupidly my phone was almost dead or i would have phoned the owners to check i was searching in the right area but did look at the map of the river walk b4 i left bedford and decided he would have gone for a quieter area than the town if the fireworks were going off.i dont have any other contacts as i only saw he was missing on here but if anyone wants my help i will make sure all my details are upto date with admin and its fine to either email or phone/text me. i noticed theres a staffie cross missing in mk too and thats on my way so can poster both areas if neccessary xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- i took my dogs for a walk down by the sewage works near the river and drove around the villages and lanes on the east and northeast side of buckingham for several hours as it seemed likely he would head towards quiter ground from the riverwalk, there were a few fishermen and a fair few walkers, no sign of dodo- but there are quite a few farm buildings in fields around there so he might be hiding out, i can go back and help on tuesday on my next day off if the owner would like- postering to villages/farms etc or walking, dont mind as long as i know by monday evening so i can plan my day. Am hoping he is found before then though. Stay safe Dodo x x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Photo now uploaded. Circumstances: During a firework at Riverside Walk in Buckingham, he panicked and went running off after squeezing his head out of his collar so he has no identification on him but is CHIPPED. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
