Jasper is home and that is wonderful and after a visit to the dog wash he is now burr free and smelling so much better.He is like many collies very fearful of fireworks so I am so relieved he's back. I would like to thank Dog lost for all your help and advice and hope that a lot more lost dogs are reunited with their owners soon.

We've got him back spindle !  Had a call from very pleased owner. Jasper made his way home himself. He is fine - just very dirty, and stinks to high heaven. He is off to the dog wash this afternoon, bless him. He's going to be kept on the long lead for a while now , which is good to hear with the fireworks about. Welcome home Jasper xx

Owner if you are reading this - you need to leave an item of clothing in the area, close to where you last saw jasper, with your scent on. Will email you some scenting information.

Do get hundreds of posters up both in the area of loss and further away immediately. Good idea to poster the pubs and pub car parks, garages, etc as well, mainly where people go, besides dog walking areas. Good Luck - Keep us posted.
