Good news - I have just received an email from owners. This little Scottie is called CHUCK (not CHUNK) - his owners went to bed leaving the back door open and got up this morning to find CHUCK curled up fast asleep in his basket!! Welcome home little chap, and please keep safe from now on.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owl - thanks for your offer of help.  I live many miles away but I'm sure the owners would appreciate any help you may be able to give them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just updated his details here to include breed. I'm maybe 12 miles from Ammanford, will help if I can.

I understood from contact with owners late last evening that this Scottie is called 'CHUCK' but owners have registered him as 'CHUNK'. Owners contacted for verification ASAP.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Contacted Chuck's owners by email very late last evening and suggested they register on this site, so well done.  Chuck is a Scottish Terrier, and went missing from the garden after 'going out for a wee'.  He is black with a few white hairs on his back.  He also has a rash on his tummy.  Owner - please contact dog warden, rescue kennels (preferably by visiting in person), vets in your area and the microchip company.  Hopefully someone will have picked Chuck up and kept him safe and well overnight, and 'his chip' will bring him home to his rightful owners.  Details are already on www.scottiedoglovers.co.uk and Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme (STECS) website.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The dog warden who picks up the strays in Ammanford lists the found dogs on their site including a photo so its good to keep checking these pages http://online.carmarthenshire.gov.uk/cccapps/english/straydogs/founddogs.asp?pagenum=2 hope you get Chunk back safe and sound very soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
