This is wonderful news and thankyou Joanne, Sables owner for the text to let me know the good news !!  Many thanks to Jarvis Cocker for contacting her friend Sara who was able to give Joanne the news about a local man finding a doh matching her description !!  This news gave Joanne a big boost last night and gave her hope in what was going to be a long worrying  night for her otherwise. So thank you Sarah too !! welcome home Sable and please stay safe from now on xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh, that's good - thank you to the kind and caring locals who helped to reunite this beautiful girl (I just love this breed!). I take it that she will be getting a nice, new shiny ID tag on her collar as a welcome home present as, having one, would have saved hours of worry and anguish! Welcome home Sable!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you to everyone for your help, Sable has now been found safe and well by someone near by who had taken her in. Thank you so much. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I e mailed Sable's Poster to my friend Sarah who lives at Rodley, she popped onto the local shop and was told somebody had found a large fluffy dog and was keeping it safe until today, she phoned the owners and told them, so hopefully Sable will be home this morning.  LizLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sable just vanished from the garden around 7pm this evening. Her owner has put some posters up and  someone had already put a DOGLOST poster up in her local shop .....so well done to the helper that did this ! She has also had a call late this evening with news that a local dog owner had mentioned in a  shop that he had found a large fluffy dog tonight and is looking after it at home. Although this man is known locally we do not know where he lives so its a waiting game till the morning when hopefully he will phone the dog warden or see one of the posters and contact Sables owners. Fingers crossed for good news  tomorrow xxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
