Overjoyed to switch this young lady to blue ! Message from Ruby's owner to say that Ruby was found today, and she has picked her up from the finder. She is overjoyed too. Thank you so very much to whoever found this girley and made the call. Welcome home Ruby sweetheart. You stay by Mum now xx

Information from owner :- She escaped out of the garden frightened by a firework i think. It was about 9.15pm on Tuesday. I've hunted high and low for her and already got posters up. I personally think someone has took her in, I dont think she is wandering about, But i dont know why they havent reported her

Ruby is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and escaped from her owners garden, most likely spooked by a firework.  Further info will be added soon and I hope someone has news about her. Lots of people are very worried about her whereabouts

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
