Had a very excited owner on the phone earlier, Tye is finally HOME and now have the greatest pleasure in moving him into the BLUE. They had a call this morning around 9.00 a.m. he was sighted walking near the houses along Queens Drive (which is a very busy main road) towards Childwall Five Ways, L16.  Family went to the area straight away seaching, postering and handing out flyers.  They had another call this afternoon from Halewood RSPCA to say they had a dog fitting his description to a poster they had in the kennels. Owner's went to the kennels and it was Tye, there was a very emotional reunion.  He has lost weight, which is understandable.  He was actually found in Woolton Park, Woolton L25 (approx 8 miles from his home) which is a round I actually deliver a free local paper each week.  Owner is going to try and find out whom the finder was to thank them personally, it was too late to get more details when they got to the RSPCA, it was closing time and they had kept the office open for them to arrive. This has made my day, owners have worked non stop in their search and it has paid off and they got the results we love to see.  A big 'THANK YOU' to everyone who rang with sightings, Radio City, the finder and also the RSPCA for once again making a match to a poster.  Well done to his owners for not giving up.  Tye will be getting CHIPPED on Monday, have also discussed getting him TATTOOED and will let owners know more details on this.  They will also get him NEUTERED a.s.a.p.  Welcome home Tye and enjoy your welcome home party.  Hugs and kisses.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tye will hopefully be getting a mention on Radio City 96.7 between 4.00-7.00 p.m. tomorrow (11.11.09).  Well done to his owners for getting him on the radio and thank you to Radio City.  Good luck.  Jan x Bumped due to coverage.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owners they have been getting phone calls of sightings in the area/surrounding area he went missing.  A lady has also contacted them she found a dog in Lark Lane L17 which is a bit of a distance and someone has claimed him, owners are sending a photo of Tye to eliminate him as the dog fitted his description.  Landline Number taken off and second Mobile added.  Various size posters also updated and emailed to owner.  Jan x Bumped due to sightings.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tye has gone missing while on a walk on the playing field on Townsend Avenue and Maiden Lane.  Owner thinks he has gone after a  bitch in season. They have put posters up and spoken to many people, been in touch with the Police, Dog Wardens, Dogs Trust, visited Halewood RSPCA today and have been postering the area.  The last sighting of him was on Townsend Avenue heading towards Breck Road at 3.00 pm today and various others over a 2 day period within 2 miles of his home.  Further info/advice and Scenting/Mapping Instructions have been emailed to owner.  I'll do various size posters and email out a.s.a.p.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
