Wow that's briliant news. Well done to the original owners for never giving up the search and a big THANK YOU to the other couples for letting him go home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That is just brilliant!  It must have been hard for the new owners but well done to them for doing the right thing, I hope they may be able to rehome another deserving staffie.  Owners must be over the moon.  Just proves how vital it is for a dog to be chipped.  Welcome home Pradar.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a lovely early christmas present this is...
As hard as it is for the person who had him, they have done the right thing with reuniting him to his owners. Would have loved to seen the reunion on this one.
Just goes to show, NEVER give up hope.

UPDATE   Details corrupted in the hack April 2008.   Pradar STOLEN 18/12/2007 in an armed robbery. He was a 5 month old black brindle & white SBT Puppy stolen at gunpoint, theives broke into family home in Norbury S W London on 18th December 2007 Appeal for safe return call in confidence. Reward offered
Police involved and extensive media coverage over 12 months and many people involved in looking for him. Owner devastated and suffering nightmares over Christmas. 1 or 2 possible sightings which proved to be negative.     Pradar has now been traced due to his chip. it seems he has had a few homes but the last  took him to his vets to be chipped so could apply for a pet passport in time. the vets found existing chip and owners were contacted. After phone calls between both parties the new owner although had had the dog a while AND BECOME EXTREEMLY FOUND OF HIM- decided to return to Pradar's original owner WHO HAD NEVER GIVEN UP HOPE OF FINDING HIM. Pradar has settled back into his home with a new playmate. I have spoken today to owners to check chip company and police now updated on these events.  CJ   so almost 2 years later PRADAR is back home.  cj
