Update from mark Agi’s devoted owner xxx
"She was found about 2 miles from hear by some friends I had told that she was missing. The saw her while walking their own dogs. She was walking around a house that builders were working on and walked through their freshly laid cement. They didn?t seem too worried. I didn?t get the call immediately as I was in theatre with my wife giving birth at the same time. Luckily they rang my parents and my father went straight over to collect her. She has obviously been hit by a car as we thought and has a little muscle damage but no broken bones and nothing that won?t mend. Otherwise she is in incredibly good condition considering the weather she was out in and has been feeding herself as she has lost no weight.
It really made our day hearing the news that she was alright onto of having a lovely daughter.

Thanks so much for all your hard work, I have been so impressed with the website."
Your more than welcome Mark xxx

Black Retriever X Rescue
Hi Mark
What terrible timing.. am so sorry to hear about Agi. How close to Marlborough are you? We're in Wootton Rivers so pretty close and lost dogs tend to gradute to us (seven noisy dogs here.. ) Will of course keep an eye out. I'd be happy to put posters up if you need some help.
Keep the faith. We've lost three dogs over the years and every single one has returned safely - one even in London where he had crossed some very busy roads at night.

Email in Admin: Thank you so much for your help.
I have attached some photographs of Agi as I can?t seem to upload them to you via your sight. I also can?t fill out all of the information. I don?t know if this is because I am using a mac computer.
She is a smallish black and white pointer with slightly large ears for the breed. Very fit and obedient and very friendly. She has a very distinctive black marking running down her nearside back leg. She was lost at about 7pm on Saturday 7th November after getting out of our property onto the A4 road. We think she was frightened by fireworks. I think she might have been hit by a car but was alright but ran away when drivers tried to catch her. I have searched for miles around with no luck and told all local vets, police and dog wardens and started a poster campaign which I will continue.
Regards

Just spoke to owner, briefly, Agi escaped from garden and ran off, she possibly may have been picked up as as some cars did stop to try to catch her, but no sign since her missing date. Dw has been alerted, and all vets. Owner is on way to hospital with wife to have a baby, ive asked him to get a pic on here soonest, and will email him more info. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
