Oh wow what an evening, my little house guest has left and I am so sorry to see her go, she is just the sweetest little dog with a lovely nature, you would not have thought that she has been fending for herself for the last 3 1/2 weeks.
Stupot organised to come and pick her up this evening, Vicki and Jane came over too to say good bye to the little minx who has cemented our friendship - we were all busy having tea and loving our last few moments with Lady when Stupot rang the bell . the dawn chorus from my two welcomed him into our home as he walked into the kitchen Lady caught sight of him and that was that, quick as a flash she was on two legs against the baby gate for a kiss, her little tail going like a propeller, well that was that the 3 of us girls all burst into tears - this was the moment that we had all wished that we would see.
Stupot held her in his arms for what seemed like an eternity and well we just kept leaking, this moment made the cold nights in the rain and the mud so very worthwhile, togther again - just wonderful I will never forget this reunion moment.
We sat and chatted for a while with Lady asleep on Stupots feet under the table, she felt safe again bless her heart.
Lady & Stupot should now just be home and I think that they will all sleep well tonight, I look forward to a time in the not too distant future that we can all get togther and crack a bottle of bubbly in Lady’s honour.
I’m off to bed now and know that I will sleep well tonight.

So pleased to hear that Lady is in good health after so long on the loose, just shows the powers of survival that dogs have! What is the future for her? Is she going back to her new home from where she was lost?  I do hope she will settle down and realise how many people love her and wish her well. She is such a sweetie!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Now that the phone has stopped ringing, a little time for reflection on today and the last 3 1/2 weeks. My heart was in my mouth when I approached the trap all the way there I had been thinking its going to be a fox in the trap - we had only baited it 40 minutes earlier - the little minx must have been watching us ! The support shown by NESSR and the team of volunteers here in MK and those who, via the forums have helped with media and contacts into companies has been immense and in truth a little overwhelming at times. Lady's story has touched the hearts of so many people. We have had such co-operation from companies and individuals on a scale that I did not ever hope to imagine. A few very important Thank you's to be made, to EDS in Milton Keynes and the Securitas guys whose 24 hour monitoring gave us the vital clue to where she was holed up and allowed us to come and go as we pleased as long as we signed in at the barrier. To MK Vet Hospital who saw Lady immediately for a check up and only charged ?6.86 for the Advocate treatment. To Julie Shelton who loaned us the original trap. To the team on the ground both local and outposts - Especially Vicki, Jane & Nicole you are very very special people and I am glad to have some very good new friends in my life all because of Lady. A massive thankyou to Cynthia & her team at NESSR who have donated a new trap to DOGLOST which will be based here in MK and will be available for use. This is a rescue who go above and beyond the call of duty - HATS OFF TO YOU ALL - Looking forward to hosting a party soon. Lady is sleeping it off and will be going home tomorrow, she is a delight to have as a guest overnightLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Everyone at NESSR can not thank DOGLOST and all their volunteers in Milton Keynes enough for helping us get Lady to safety. Without your support, dedication and hardwork it would never have been possible.
THANK YOU DOGLOST
NESSR asked Sandy what her wishlist was. So NESSR has made a donation of various useful items to help you with future searches for the Milton Keynes team as a thank you to you all. I don’t think anything will ever make up for the mamouth effort you made for Lady and NESSR is forever grateful to you all as you are wonderful group of people.

Right safely back home now with the most precious cargo going. Lady has been given the all clear by the vets - she is subdued as would be expected but she is in good health, The vets confirmed that her temperature is a little low but nothing to worry about. Few ticks removed and a worm & flea treatment just incase. She is having a rest in a crate in my conservatory at the moment but has ventured out a couple of times and the darted back to safety. Bless her heart. See Nicole you were right about the Salmon - she went for it Off to get some rice to do chicken and rice for her and will put a lead on just to take her in the garden for a wee ! Will try to upload some picture later Sandie xx Big thanks to everyone who has searched, called, posted, emailed - what a great team of people from NESSR forum and ours AT DOGLOST. Biggest thanks to EDS for allowing us to go on thier land at some really weird times of day and to Danny & all the security guards for watching out for her   I feel a christmas gift coming your way.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Many thanks everyone for your encouragment, yes it is a bit hard sometimes not to get fustrated, but when I click on the red tab above and see the hundreds of dogs missing it just makes me more determined to help bring this one home! :-)
I did the early morning watch from 5.45 - 7.45 in EDS, nothing seen but again all of the food was gone - left more bacon etc (for her breakfast)
On the way back home I drove all around the Kents Hill area, but nothing! it was raining though so she was probably under cover somewhere - I noticed that the care homes had lots of bin bags out, so if anyone is walking that way today, it might be worth a look - sadly I am off to work now, but back on stake out this evening! xx

Another possible sighting this evening at 6.05pm on the redway just off PONDGATE on Kents Hill, Sighting way by Pumpkin on her drive around. The sighted dog was on the redway and sniffing and ambling along. We searched the bushes for an hour but it must have slipped off again, it does however back up the earlier sighting at 2.45 - about 200 yards away in fact. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Possible sighting this afternoon at 2.45 in the small park near to Kents Hill Pavillion & Playing Fields. Witness mentioned collar colour was different to posters which it is . Have left food there too, food station at EDS has been polished off including pigs ear which I left on last visit, as the crow flies considerably less than 1 mile from kents hillLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Julie, sorry should have been more specific with the ponds - it is not the walled deep pond but the 2 smaller ponds joined by the shingle ditch that we are looking at as her route, if you could just check the deep pond too just incase she gets in there as the sides are sheer and she would struggle to get out again.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello Julie, Yes we saw the haystack in the next field and it would make a great place to bed down, but it is on private property and we are trying to determine whether Lady is heading in that direction everynight or over to the Stables.
If she is heading for the haystack, then maybe we can try to get to it through the Stables which seems to be next to it!
We will try to keep an eye on that area tonight!
It must be fustrating for you working there and thinking she might be so close!

Had another perimeter walk - hopes raised - but turned out to be a pheasant.  Couldn't see any tracks - but not 100% sure where you mean - there is a drainage 'pond' near the fence by the field next to the Stables and there is a proper pond near the old wall - had a walk around both but couldn't see any tracks.  My window overlooks the drainage pond and Stables.   There is something covered in a tarp in the next field - could be machinery or a haystack - but would make a good shelter.      Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Great news about Amber, let's hope Lady decides it's too cold soon too and let's us get her into the warmth. Sandie, did you get the permission you needed for the trap? The weather this morning is perfect for tracking her, there should be some really good tell tale signs. Come on Lady, there's so many of us out there looking for you with lots of scrummy food for you to eat & nice warm fleeces for you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Going out again tonight to  stake out EDS! Armed with more meatballs, bacon and sardines (What a mixture!) TWO hot water bottles thick wooly socks and half a dozen cuppa soups! Last night we had so many layers on that we could not have jumped out of the car if we had wanted to! I am sure lady was tucked away somewhere warm and has probably been out this morning to collect her breakfast! (as Sandie said, she was seen by the cctv camera's carry what looked like a paper bag!) Good news is that the weather news say's it will rain later and the temperature will then rise! there were lots of places we found that were quite sheltered and dry - so have hope everyone, perseverence and determination WILL win!

i’m back in again, couldn’t resist going round the block once more, as Vicki said earlier we think that she may have passed by us in the car park but too far away to be certain, it is very quiet there and ideal place , we now just have to find out where she is travelling to when she crosses the car park. I have just followed the gritter lorry so it is very cold tonight, I hope that she is snug tonight where ever she is sleeping, a story to keep our spirits up is Amber a Rodesian Ridgeback from Uxbridge safe at home tonight after living rough since August, similar scenairo lots of sightings but very elusive, come on Lady your turn next.
Thanks everyone for your text messages of support tonightLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Julie, As Sandie has asked people not to search too closely for her just keep our eyes open so we can report when she is seen, there is not much more you can do.  Your perimeter walks will be useful as will looking out of the window.  The idea is to get her used to the food stations so she stays put and can then the food station can be replaced with a trap as this seems to be the only way she is going to get back into the warmth.  Temperature is dropping to below freezing tonight so let's hope she is found this evening, or has somewhere very snug to spend the night.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Had a walk around the perimeter of the work site at lunchtime - nothing.  I am spending half my time gazing out of the window in the hope that I will spot her - my office window overlooks the fields. That's brilliant news.  Having spent a few hours wandering around the area over the weekend she is quite safe if she stays put.  There is plenty of water for her and still berries etc. on the bushes, as well as the rubbish people throw over the hedges and lots of space to run around in and lots of places to hide.  Stay safe little one until you feel brave enough to venture near one of the many people who are trying to help you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

00.05am Another sighting this evening from security at EDS at just before 10pm, Please monitor this area from your car but do not try to approach this is a safe area relatively free from cars and traffic, now we have to get her coming for food at regular times but not scare her off from this site. stay safe little Lady xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Julie, if you are doing the perimeter walk in daylight hours please look out for any flattened tracks in the bottom corner of the car park near to the ponds backing to the Stables Theatre. There is a dead fox on the bank there which gave me a fright but we are looking for clues of direction of travel. She was seen Sunday night on CCTV with food packaging in her mouth  so we know she is feeding herself. We have left food in the trees in the car park - hope that Lady finds it tonight and then comes back for more tomorrow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spent several hours searching that area yesterday, just on my way back there again now.  Fingers crossed she sticks to that area as it's away from the main roads and there is plenty of land for her to run around in, although also plenty of hiding places as previously mentioned.  Come on Lady, be brave and let us get you to safety & warmth.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

For anyone out searching today - there is an animal body on the slip road into Kingston Tesco very near to the Volvo garage - Vicky7 found yesterday it is very badly squashed - the MK warden attended and scanned - it is not Lady but a very large cat but is very badly squashed now.  so don’t panic if you spot the remains Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just come back in from checking the food station , apart from disturbing sacredy cat there was no sign of anything there, the last sighting is encouraging that she is staying in the area but surrounding the eds building / wavendon towers is a small strip of woodland which is thick and would prove excellent cover for a scared dog, I have had a poke around this morning but can seen no signs of a den.
If anyone is coming up to day though this would be a good place to search. If you parked on Ortensa drive as you come in from the H9 Groveway the waste ground is on your left, there are a few human size gaps in the hedge, once through the strip of wood there are about 6 fields which are very open & very muddy ! but just standing with binoculars may spot any tracks or gaps that may need checking.
I have to  work until mid afternoon (unexpected shift) but will have my phone on if anyone needs to contact me, and will be back out again laterLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Don't mind the poster being moved, other than to say that it was put in the middle of the board 8 days ago, moved two days later and then put back in the middle when I was there on Tuesday!! So we had better keep our eye on it! it appears to have a life of its own! :-)
Will be on the Walnut Tree / Kent's Hill walk tonight, replacing posters that also seem to keep dissappearing!

I Live in Furzton, close to Morrisons shopping area, agree about putting posters in car windows, I have had one in since search started. I have also put one in Jolley's Pet store.
Although we cannot rule this sighting out, I am still concentrating on Walnut Tree/Wavendon/Kents Hill area.
I have sent all of my friends in the Furzton area a copy of Lady's poster and they will all keep an eye open.
Also spoken to my Postman and given him a leaflet with the mobile numbers on.

Possible sighting - 4-5 miles outside our known zone have spoken to the Lady who reported the latest sighting off the H7
The dog she spotted was just about 10am on Thursday 25th
On the grass verge on the side of the H7 Chaffron Street, between the turnings into ShenleY Brook End approx half way along between the turning to the SBE School (Wallinger Drive) & Cressey Avenue, travelling away from Morrisions / MacDonalds / KFC back towards Furzton Lake area.
This is a long way outside the area that we have been getting sightings in but only about 4 miles total distance, we cannot rule out totally, Posters will be going up near to the supermarket and the school at SBE to see if we get sightings. Pumpkin & SpringerJane postering this area tomorrow
Food Station again untouched but refilled with Garlic Chicken for tonight. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

me and my daughter and dogs drove round Kents Hill and Monkston etc last night, but nothing.  I went back into the Hilton Hotel and gave them some flyers for their desk which they will photocopy as we only had a few.  Went to reception at BT business park and spoke to receptionist who thought that lady had been found - she works untill midnight and will keep a look out for her.  spoke to lots of dog walkers and searched the big park - there are so many places she could be - so lucky to have so much area and cycle tracks though because it is keeping her off the roads and alive.......Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks - got the poster now - couldn't see it for looking.  Sorry should have given more detail but didn't think it relevant as it was last week.  My work is at the top of Ortensia Drive on the edge of Wavendon Gate and backs onto The Stables car park, so very much in the area.  The Security Guards were out looking for a dog that had been seen in the grounds last Thursday - they said it was a black and tan spaniel - cavalier they thought.  Not a definite sighting but highly probable. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We went this morning at 5am with high hopes, sadly the food was untouched but there is definate evidence that something has been ’nesting’ so it is going to be a test of patience now, I am cooking a leg of lamb today and we will use the bone as our  food tonight, this has been sucessful with other dogs in the past.
The team on the ground (Thank you all ) will continue to sweep the areas that she has been seen in previously & the local paper is running a follow up story including Lady’s picture and the phone numbers, they were very interested in the theory of food stations -although no information to our curent location has been shared. We also appealed that if she is seen in an encolsed garden and can be secured there then to ’please shut her in and call us but not to try to corner her’ Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi All, just picked up this thread so will get on with helping.  Have put the info on our Company bulletin board and will get out postering and helping to search.  Am I right in thinking that she is responding more to the quieter dogs and/or other Cocker Spaniels?  Let me know so I don't take the wrong dogs with me as I don't want to frighten her any more than she is already frightened. Keep safe little girl. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Update Due to the sighting this morning and the brilliant cooperation of the land owners we have been able to set up a feeding station on the farm, if we can keep her here in one place then we can look at placing a den /trap , the search for lady has been made so difficult because of the way that Milton Keynes has been designed with cycle tracks that dive under & over roads, most of the roads are dual carriageway and you cannot turn around quickly in a car. The sightings have been several miles apart and in quite close time proximity, by road almost impossible but via the cycle tracks very easy. All of these cycle tracks are landscaped in by thick shrubbery which is providing excellent cover for Lady to travel but the task on the ground is harder. We now have to keep out fingers crossed that Lady will return to the same spot twice and take the food Nina - my number is 07515 884 675 - please give me a call Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Could somebody help me with some information.  I  do not live in MK area but have been posting Ladys details on a couple of forums which I belong to which go out right across the UK.  It has drawn quite a bit of interest and I would like to go back and thank them for being interested.  I know that at the moment you are still searching for her but if you could tell us if there was a good turn out of helpers on Saturday morning and is there anything more that the local people can do to help I would be grateful.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Angus. I can't understand why a trap hasn't been brought in to help. Is it because she's moving around too much or something to do with her bad start in life and her nervousness? Fingers crossed that today's the day she gives herself up xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

7.45 pm Another sighting this evening This is a very credible sighting he saw her three times. twice she was interested in his dogs ... second time he put his dogs way and tried to get her to come to him.
She was seen around the cricket ground off Issacs Drive in the Wavendon Gate area which would fit with the sighting near the stables but not newport pagnell.
sighting was half and hour ago
also said that lady did not appear to be injured  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I walk my dog in the fields near Phoebe Lane and I have been handing out flyers to other dog walkers round there most of this week.  Several people have been asking me for a handful, so they can hand them out too.  So hopefully, if she is still in that area, people will be aware of her and of who to call.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you Berties Family - it was only the BBQ zone last night that we did not want people to come too - we sat in the dark with BBQ for 3 hours in a very quiet place that she had been seen on several occasions (sadly it seems she had already moved directions)- We do need people on the ground looking and if you have a quiet steady dog then please divert you walks into the search areas, but be aware that she is very nervous of people and we don't want her to feel that she is being stalked so if you see her please call one of the team immediatly and if possible follow at a safe distance and observe where she is going - this way we may be able to let one of the dogs that she was fostered with into the area to draw her out. Please continue to be vigilant - I am sure that as a team we can get her back Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

2 Sightings Yesterday phoned in as a result of local media 19/11/2009   09:00 (yesterday) Lady was seen in Marsh Moor Stables Yard Woburn Sands. This is MK17 8DE. These stables are near to Woodleys bed and breakfast cottages. There is a garden centre nearby calles Frosts which had fields behind it and would give good cover and food.
The Lady who saw her works at the yard and got to within 20 feet before Lady ran off.
This is not the same sighting as last night at 18:15 in Pheobe Lane Wavendon Gate.
These two locations are about 1 -2 fields apart.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

4 of us went out after work last night until 1am - walked and stayed in the Walnut Tree and Hilton Hotel area, spoke to several night watchmen in the conference centre in Kents Hill, left leaflets.
But sadly nothing at all!
Over the weekend as we do not have to get up for work, we are starting later and hoping to manage a night shift, as she may be foraging for food early morning. Sorry about the BBQ, great idea -  - lets hope she is staying in this area?

CROSSPOSTED FROM NESSR FORUMS   This is Stupot using Grahams login from the caravan.
We are desperately looking for offers of help to stay in the caravan which is parked in McDonalds in Kingston, Milton Keynes, From tomorrow afternoon through the night up until Friday evening when I will take over through the evening / night Friday into Saturday.
It may be that you live near by and can tow the caravan to and from McDonalds. We feel that the caravan is a perfect base that needs to stay in place for a few more days.
We would also need people to man it on Sunday and then tow it somewhere safe so Graham can come down and pick it up a few days later.
I have typed this really quickly and hope it makes sense.
Please feel free to call me on 07733 001165 if you can help even just for a few hours.
Thanks

I think that she may be attracted to the smells from the shops - there is an Indian, a Chinese, Kebab & Chicken Shop, Fish & Chips all in a line and about 200yards from the school , Stuart has been speaking to the shop keepers and customers, the shops all close at 11 so it will quieten down then and she may return for bin raiding. The shops have open bins outside and all have bin stores at the rear of the premisis. I will go back out later to check out Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Which Starbucks, the City Centre one?-  I have just forwarded on the email containing the latest poster to all of my email contacts, most of which are in or around the Milton Keynes area - I know they will all respond and it is a good way to distribute to other areas - the more saturation the better - maybe others should do this? what do you think? 8.30am

Intended to Poster the Walnut Tree area this afternoon, but Unfortunately my printer decided to have a holiday so was unable to do it - We did go out and walk the area again though, leaflet was given to Tesco delivery drivers who are putting one up in their canteen.
Has anyone contact our local free paper with a poster to print?

Been out searching from 9am until 12 midday, looked all around the Maidstone Road/ Newport Road area, left lots of leaflets with workmen in the area, looked under so many bushes that I will get a reputation as the mad woman of Milton Keynes (But who cares) - have just come home for some soup and then will go out again.
Also extended the search area towards woughton, leaving leaflets, just in case. My mobile number is 07900373807 - I can be out quickly if needed most afternoons.

Once of our volunteers has just spoken to a lady at the radio station "Just spoken to a lady at the radio station - she said it was a Jack Russell type dog (so unlikely to be Lady) but was on roundabout where V10 Brickhill St meets H5 Portway" So I think our last confirmed sighting from someone on the ground was Saturday alongside the V11 near the boarded up Tavern by the 24hr Mcdonalds on Kingston shopping centre. It is thought she was heading towards the Monkston area. Lets hope we get a positive sighting from someone on the ground today.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Another observation when people say they have seen her ON a road do they mean physically on the road in danger or on the path by the side of the road ... we do need alittle more accuracy if possible to work out which hedges etc she might be using for shelter etc. The dual carriageways are wide so we need to know which side of the road she was on etc   Thank you  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Cynthia and I were part of the team from NESSR to carry out the night time searches etc. We feel that she is using the maze of underpasses and paths/cycle lanes etc to mostly move about. Whilst she has been reported on roads there have been no reports to the police or environmental services of a dog causing a nuisance or accidents which is good news. The area has ALOT of thick hedges and places where she can dart in and out of and get shelter. We put our springers through many of those hedges in a hope of flushing her out because they are impossible to see into properly. We are currently mapping out all confirmed sightings to get a better idea of her movements and seeing if we can pinpoint common cross over points.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

we have some helpers going back to search the paths again from last night in daylight, I think now it is important to continue to poster all around MONKSTON, WALNUT TREE, KENTS HILL & KINGSTON areas to try to get sighting in from the public so if anyone can help with this then please do so and post here on doglost where you are postering to save duplicated journeys.
We have altered the doglost poster to say NERVOUS DOG  if you would like the new posters or 4 to a page flyers please  text your email addy to my mobile and I will send on to you. 07515 884 675  8.55am  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Friends went down yesterday evening, but she forgot to take her phone with her and couldn't call or locate you.  Spent some time searching but probably in the wrong part of Maidstone Road.  Unfortunately we are not available today, or tomorrow if she hasn't been found and just wish everyone out there all the very very best. Poor little Lady. It is difficult to sleep at night knowing you are out there.

I am keeping everything crossed, she seems to be staying in the same area - I am going out again now 11.45pm just in case!

URGENT REQUEST! Lady has been spotted in Maidstone Road, where it meets Newport Road on the industrial estate at the rear of Tesco's in Kingston. We are looking for anybody local who can come down to help search bushes etc.  She has been reported to be quite low and possibly hurt so please bear this in mind if you see her - she is still likely to bolt.  If you have a calm, gentle dog please take them along as this may help put Lady at ease.  You will need a torch!! Please contact one of the co-ordinators when you arrive.  Its going t be very cold this evening so we need to get her in the warm.   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have just got back in from searching since 5.30 - we got to the area described to us and worked with further information to pinpoint a point on the path - the problem is that the path is so dark and the hedges and bushes so dense, when the last torch ran out of battery we sadly had to leave - we will try to get bodies back there in the morning to resume the search.
I am so sorry that we do not have anymore news but we will not give up on Lady Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We feel her only hope is for her Foster Dad to coax her in, and stangers making towards her could possibly scare her towards one of the busy dual-carriageways. Searching atm is 24 hours. Thankyou for everyones help upto now stay safe nessr babe x

A definite sighting of her by a friend of mne at about 1.30pm at Kents Hill,  along the redway by Budgens, heading up towards Brinklow/Wavendon.   We tried to cut across to see if we could spot her, but she trotted off again when my friend tried to get her attention - which I have been asking people NOT to do! A postman then said that he had seen her by the sorting office at Brinklow so we had a good look around that area, but then left others to take over.  There is also a strong possibility that she had been out in Kents Hill Park last night, as my friend's dogs, who are always very quiet at night, were very disturbed and kept wanting to go out and run along the back fence, which backs onto a hedgerow over looking the park. Their owner tried to see what it was they were after but it was too dark for him to see anything.  I hope Lady stays safe and hope that all of you still out there are successful. The sooner the better considering all the roads around that area.   Please Lady - PLEASE show yourself and let those people help you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just been out looking and met up with Stuart and his springer , there have been no further sightings since this morning, Stuart's dog did show some interest in a particular bush so food and socks have been left at this point and plenty of scenting has been done, it is now a waiting and praying game that she will show herself again at a similar time to yesterday. update 6.58, just spoken with Stuart he came within yards of Lady but she was facing away from and did not turn around eventually they lost sight of her in the shrubbery, then another call shee had moved to another location - sat on the steps of an nearby office block but ran off when workers came out to try to coax her. The good news is that she seems to be moving well and is not too badly injured and has stayed in the same area most of the day so hopefully she will stay there tonight if they cannot find her before Stuart has to leave to feed the rest of the crew. Auntie Kate and I will meet up in the morning if she is not caught tonight.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pretty sure I saw this dog on my way in to work this morning (a little before 9am).  She had a collar but no tag.  I tried to approach her, but she ran into bushes near the Hilton hotel (I was on the redway that runs next to Groveway) and I lost track of her.  Just remembered about this site and thought I'd look on the off-chance she was on here.  Have all the relevant telephone numbers with me now in case I see her again on my way home.  She looked a bit cold and wet, but otherwise well. Really hope you find her.  She seemed like a lovely little dog, but very timid, so difficult to approach.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just got back in from searching for an hour before work - met up with some other helpers and their spaniels saw Stuarts other half in the car park. Sadly no sign as yet of Lady, helpers are searching dense areas of shrubbery all around the retail park. I spoke to the man who cleans the car parks and have left contact details with him - he is there for the rest of the day and starts at 6am - he is keeping a look out. McDonalds staff are keeping watch from the drive thro windows. There is a disused pub opposite McDonalds with it's bin store to the rear - on investigation there are 2 sheds with chairs in - may be used by kids or homeless people but well worth a check again later on - If its dark -DO NOT GO THERE ON YOUR OWN ! as it could be dangerous - I would recommend shouting out before checking the sheds!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
