Ahhhh... this has brought a big smile to my face! I'm so happy these two seem to be settling in so well. Their faces are certainly a lot happier than in the original photos. THANK YOU SO MUCH Scoska for the update. Have a very happy life you two xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to their new mum this morning they are settling in well, they both slept upstairs and have already found the food cupboard. They will both have a wonderful life now she said they had just been for a long walk and were sat infront of the fire washing each other.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Its so nice to hear that these 2 are to stay together and that they did not have to go to kennels.  Thank you for looking after them in their need and finding them a lovely home to go to.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi thanks to our lovely local dog warden he has been found a lovely new home with his lady friend, I took them there this morning, we had a great week looking after them and were very sad to have to let them go, but my three dogs are looking forward to having their home and mum back! It turned out he was fairly blind but his new mum is quite happy to look after him in his retirement I think he will be sleeping on her bed by now!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You haven't mentioned if you've notified your local dog warden. They could probably give you phone numbers of dog wardens in neighbouring areas incase owners are actively looking for them and I'm sure they'd consider letting you look after them in the meantime, which is what I'm hoping you want to do?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Scoska. I'm so pleased that you are taking care of these two lovelies and that they haven't gone off to the pound. A thought crossed my mind that maybe their owner has taken a fall somewhere rather than them being lost or dumped. You said they were found near a hillside spot. Have you thought of informing the police or putting an ad in the local paper in the hope that someone recognises them?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
