Had a phone call from one very happy owner! This little girl survived the odds and was out for 2 days and nights, thankfully she was found and re-united through her tag. the owner would like to thank everybody at Dog Lost who helped get Heidi home xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So glad this little lady has been found safely. She doesn't seem to have had much of a life up to now so wish her every happiness in her new home. Stay safe Heidi!

Fantastic news - Heidi is home. She was found in a nearby village this evening, some people saw her in their car headlights, picked her up and took her home. with them. She was very muddy so they bathed her, found her tag and phoned her owners who now have her back.. A very happy ending. Stay safe Heidi and enjoy your new life.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been over there this afternoon with some posters and flyers and we have been busy putting them up. It is a very rural area. Heidi's owners are going to do some more leafleting this evening when there are more people at home. Where she was last seen there is a water filled ditch and a pond but I don't think she would have just fallen in them because they were quite overgrown and she is very wary of grass, not having seen much of it in her lifetime as a brood bitch at a puppy farm. There ia a long dirt track leading away from the area and if she was spooked by anything or panicked she may have high-tailed it off up there. I'm really hoping we get some results from the posters and leaflets.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to the owner's mum and Heidi is a rescue dog that they have had for a week. She went missing on a walk very close to where they live. Owners have been out searching the area with their other dog as they feel sure that Heidi would come to him. Dog warden's, police, vets and rescue centre have all been notified in the area. I have advised on scenting the area where Heidi disappeared from and will be E-mailing scenting instructions. I will E-mail contact numbers for Norfolk vets and rescue centres. Stay safe Heidi until you are found xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
